Green Nest Resort Ooty

We were there with family and infant. At first day provided heater was not working and when we asked to replace it as baby will need it, they took that heater and came back with working one. On 2nd night around 4 AM when every one were sleeping heater's plug got fire and started burning, baby's mother was awake during that time due to which we are saved/alive otherwise who would know what would be the outcome of that. We tried finding some staff which went vein for 1st 30 mins, no one was available in reception (most expected place). Then due to multiple banging on door and noise a guy wake up from another room and came and checked and said that they cannot do anything so adjust in the same room as power is already cut so no issue now and wait till the morning. And in the morning a lady staff came and said that its there loss only as they have to get the room ready for next guests, and its our fault that we were using the heater at night. Now decide on your own, these type of people only needs money and do not accept a simple mistake. Mistake: they had replaced the original plug of heater(16-20 amp) with another one, and wires were not connected properly due to which it short circuited and ignite the fire. But they were keep on blaiming that we should not have used the heater at night. Check the pics, there is wooden frame in around the plug which caught fire instantly, if baby's mother was not awake at that time, it could have led to massive accident.

We r a group of 3 women, felt safe and comfortable during whole stay. Rooms are clean and cozy. We stayed in royal rooms which has spectacular view of tea plantations around.whole staff including reception,house keeping, restaurant and the boys are helpful.Restaurant is as good as resort in variety, taste and ambience . Cab service provided by the resort Mr.srinath is disciplined, respectful and safe . There's a small hill Trek from the resort with a toda hit and a temple on the top. Tea plantation walk, indoor games,play area and walking track is well maintained . I don't remember any of the staff by name, but we thank you for making our trip a memorable one Thank you @greennestresort kotagiri

Good food, good resort, scenic & peaceful. Went with family during March first week and it was cold here compared to Bangalore. The stay was worth it. However, one thing to note, last 1km to the resort the path is very steep and it is offroad. Need to be a little careful if you are coming by car.

Great service at this place from the time we checked in until we left. Definitely a go to place to escape from the chaos. Shout out to the restaurant folks for providing such an amazing food, also to the executive there who let us check in before the actual check on time.

We recently celebrated our child's first birthday at this resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, with beautifully maintained and spacious rooms. The picturesque surroundings added a touch of magic to the occasion. The food at the Berry Peckers restaurant was delicious, contributing significantly to the success of the celebration. We were particularly impressed with the service, especially from Sahil. He was attentive and accommodating throughout our stay, ensuring we felt comfortable and promptly addressing all our requests. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and created cherished memories.

I’m sorry to say this the service was very poor. Please try to train your people what is hospitality? Food was ok variety is limited then I ask the owner number no one is help.im sorry Ram sir.Cave cottage was super but one thing only one rest room is drawback.
