Stayed 3 nights in small double room with attached bathroom Clean, comfortable and quiet if somewhat lacking in a friendly atmosphere. Close to the railway station and tourist information Centre. Note hotel is closed during the day and open at 3pm for check-in. You can leave bags in locker for 100 yen. Nice small onsen bath to relax after a day of sightseeing. Note the breakfast caters mainly to Japanese guests with no fresh food. I found it awful and resorted to the convenience store across the street.

The room is quite large, the beds are all large double beds, the tables, chairs and sofas are also very good, there are also projectors and TVs, the kitchen is also fully equipped, including a microwave, induction cooker, and cooking utensils, so you can cook by yourself. The whole room is a big open space The room has no partitions and is not suitable for those who need privacy. Those who live on the first floor may face the noise from residents walking on the second floor. The hotel is located next to the highway, next to a small village, about a quarter of an hour's walk from Tobu Nikko Station. Although the road is not long, it is not very smooth. There is a 7-11 and a larger supermarket within three minutes. There is no front desk, check-in requires self-service, and the room has a password lock. Remember that you cannot check in before three o'clock and you cannot store your luggage. Your luggage can be stored at the station. It cost 5,100 RMB to stay for three days. Pension was cosy, clean and well equipped. Bath includes onsen. breakfast and dinner can be arranged with the host for a reasonable charge. It is quite a walk from the bus stop with rather uneven road if you have wheeled luggage. Owner was nice to give us a ride out (at her convenience) to the bus stop. View from room of Mt nantai is lovely and it is convenient to visit the waterfalls...especially yudaki which was the best in my opinion.

It was a room that I had been to a company on a employee trip around the Showa era. It was old, but there was no problem with cleaning, and the mountain stream was overlooked and the view was good. The meal is buffet style. Alcohol is an extra charge, and there is an all-you-can-drink plan for 60 or 90 minutes, and it is better for those who say that it is alcohol. I had a 90-minute all-you-can-drink plan and enjoyed eating for 90 minutes. There were quite a few types of dinner and breakfast, and I enjoyed various things according to my taste. Maybe it was due to the time, but the meal and the hot springs were soaked that I was able to relax.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the station. It's close to the famous suspension bridge, it's very clean, the facilities are new, and I thought the semi-open-air bath would be great! It also came with a washing machine, so I was happy to be able to wash it! There was a rice cooker and a barbecue stove, so I thought it would be easy to have a party.

I used it for 1 night and 2 days without meals. Kinugawa, a famous lodging destination in Tochigi Prefecture, costs an astonishingly low price of 9,200 yen for two adults. Since we were staying without meals this time, we didn't have meals included, but Hotel Otaki doesn't provide meals, so you can move to the annex and eat your meals. There are no shopping places or restaurants in the area, so if you are staying overnight without meals, we recommend purchasing food and drinks in advance before checking in. Snacks, cup noodles, vending machines, etc. are available at the front desk, but they are expensive. To take a bath, you need to go outside and go to the large communal bath in the annex, but you can relax and enjoy the hot spring water with its quality and texture. In addition, the guest rooms have separate baths and toilets, so they are clean and beautiful, so it is recommended for those who cannot take a bath in the large public bath. Now, regarding the most important guest room, it was a 10 tatami room which was too large for two people. Unfortunately, it is not facing the river, so the view is not very good, but you can relax on the wide veranda while looking at the mountains surrounding the Kinugawa River. The air conditioning and heating system was old and installed on the floor, but it was very effective and there was also a fan, so you could adjust the temperature of the entire room. The only thing I didn't like was that the toilets on the lobby floor had wallets, but the toilets in the guest rooms didn't have washlets. If you really want to use your wallet, use the communal toilets on each floor. Now, for the important room.

The room I stayed in was a smoking room, but it smelled like cigarettes. It's rare to find a room that smells like this. It is mandatory to specify a non-smoking room from the next time! The food buffet was rich in variety and delicious. As for the hot spring bath, the moonlight hot water was a little lukewarm. On the contrary, the hot water of Momoka was hot! 今回、久しぶりにNTT　OBとして利用しました。 鬼怒川温泉も寂れている部分があるのも致し方ないのですが、そんな中、凛と建っている、 品のある間接照明と清潔感のある館内施設、暖かいおもてなし等、久しぶりにゆったりした時間を過ごすことができました。 夕食では、酔いが回ったせいか、みそ汁をこぼしてしまったのですが、すぐに対応いただき申し訳なかったのですが、心遣いもありがたく思った次第です。 　いまでも十分ですが、さらなるおもてなしの気づきとして、２点提案させていただきます。 　まず1点。部屋の上がりかまちのところに、低い椅子があると助かると思いました。 高齢になり、スニーカー等の靴紐を結ぶ際、しゃがむのも苦しく、低い椅子に座れると楽に結べるかなと思いました。 すべての部屋に置く必要はなく、要望があれば準備するとか、もしくは高齢と判断したら準備しておく等でいいとは思います。 　2点目です。ベッドが柔らかすぎ、少々腰が痛くなりました。ベッドそのものは良いものとは思いますが、私が普段煎餅ふとんで寝ているためか、柔らかいベッドでは腰が痛くなります。 いくつかの病院では、入院ベッドのマットに工夫がなされており、一面が柔らかく、もう一面が固い仕様になっています。患者の要望に合わせ、表裏を返すのみで、患者の要望に応えられるようになっています。ホテルとしては、表裏を返すというのは無理かもしれませんが、固いベッドをいくつか準備するという方法もあるかもしれません。 　上記、勝手なことを言わせてもらいましたが、一考願えれば幸いです。
