3-Star Hotels in Nikko

Room is huge compared to most Japanese hotel rooms. Modern styling, particularly loved the layout of the room. Tv was a great size and quality but disappointedly didn’t have any smart tv apps you can log into. It does have movie and other satellite channels. Bed was huge and super comfortable, 2 pillows on each side and a good weight duvet. We stayed for 2 nights and loved our stay.

Very short walk from Tobu Nikko station, staff was very helpful, vending machine inside, basic essentials are all provided by the hotel, was a very comfortable stay. During my stay in autumn, the A/C was set to the heater after 7pm so we had to open a crack in the window for cool air. Overall amazing experience.

Location and hospitality from the staff are the stand outs for this hotel. 5 min walk from Tobu-Nikko station and just opposite JR Nikko station. Lots of dining options around so not to worry but the nearest convenience store is actually not that near. For my stay, it came with free breakfast every day though I only had it for one day because I wanted to try out other breakfast/ coffee places in Nikko. There’s onsen in the hotel, both indoor and outdoor so this is also a plus point. However, the hotel itself is a bit tired and desperately needs a renovation.

The rooms and lobby are decorated with great care. They are antique. There is a hot spring on the second floor. There is a children's play area. There is a fitness area. There is also a music area with many musical instruments. There are many calligraphy and sculptures.

The hotel room is very spacious, wider than the normal standard size.  Although it is quite far from the station, you can still walk there. There are not many restaurants in the hotel area. There is only a 250-meter wait to order and a 7-Eleven that you have to cross the street to get to.

first of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel,because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme,the carpet,the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design,etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults,with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station,only 3 hrs.from Tokyo.We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize,can accomodate even 10 person,the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour,like beer,japanese wine,sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs,especially for the elderly when slippery,there's & a little bit far from our room,the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard,majong,etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan

The location by Lake Chuzenji is appealing. I was a little concerned that there was no elevator, but when I asked the manager, he said that the building was too sturdy and it would be difficult to install an elevator. Instead, the staff helped me carry my luggage up and down, so I had almost no trouble. The hot spring is small, but (when I went) most of the people there were foreigners and not many people used it, so I was able to relax and enjoy it at my leisure. The breakfast was a Japanese and Western buffet with a sufficient variety. The facilities were simple and a bit hostel-like, but it was sufficient.

The hotel weighs luggage. If you stay for more than one night, remember to apply for a membership card. It can be postponed to 12 noon for free. In addition, every room has a friend who is very suitable for business travel. Free Asia, including China ’s free unlimited mobile phone and wifi wireless. Very good hotel, usually locals go on holiday, the country is relatively small, so it is relatively quiet. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned, it should be for many years, but it does not hinder the buffet is very delicious, there are also very good spa, the guests are free. Very good, very old-fashioned hostel, hot springs and two meals are great. A little distance from the train station, when I went, I called the service staff to pick it up, but when I returned to the train station, I called a taxi because there was a person on duty in the lobby, not far away, but a bit expensive. It is recommended to ask the hotel in advance or make an appointment for the transfer.
