Excellent accomodation! The hotel was next to a beautiful lake (with a beach) where we went swimming at midnight. Afterwards, we hopped into the onsen. There is a small scenic hiking trail around this lake you can explore. The location is absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself was very comfortable. We enjoyed the small gift shop and the treats. Breakfast was a beautiful traditional feast. Diverse options and colours. Our group had a lot of fun!

My stay here was quite lovely! The people and the staff were so helpful, very polite, and efficient. Check-in was really efficient and smooth. The moment I said my name, the keys to my hotel room were ready. The staff was really helpful in giving me local tips to places I should visit, and they were very patient when I was asking questions despite the language barrier. My hotel room was very basic, but quite nice and as expected judging on how affordable it was to stay here. The room was clean, and had everything I needed; clean white sheets, covers, mats, robes, slippers, etc. The hot springs were open all night long, and for the most part, we were alone. It is quite an old place, so do expect certain things to show some wear and tear. However, overall, considering location, customer service, value, and price... It's a great deal. I tried staying there once more, but the hotel was fully booked for the next day.

I liked that we could take one amenity at a time. The room was quite dark even with the lights on at night, so I wish it was a little brighter.

I stayed at Yumoto Onsen for Senjogahara trekking. I arrived 5 minutes before check-in, but I had to wait for check-in and was told to self-check-in. It took time..ㅜ It was inconvenient that Wi-Fi was not available in each room and was only available in the lobby, and since the heating was an old-style gas-based one, the smell made it impossible to stay in the room even if it was turned on even a little, so I ended up turning it off and sleeping. Breakfast and hot springs were good

The hotel is great. The old-school hot spring experience is full of experience. Overall, it is highly recommended. Except for the transportation in Tokyo, which is not very convenient, it is not inconvenient if you drive.

The shabu-shabu for dinner was good, but I wanted something more. How about grilled mackerel for breakfast? *I would have liked a little more ingenuity such as grilling and boiling.

Located in the center of Nikko's hot springs, it's a very good place for hot springs, and I think the quality of the hot springs is good. It just feels old and untouched. Cospa is very good because it is cheap by that amount. Breakfast was included and I was surprised at how good it was. Overall I am satisfied.

We picked the best time to go. The autumn colours were a cascade of vibrant brilliance and colour. We went here for hiking and sightseeing from a two hour train ride from Tokyo. We took an hour and a half bus from Nikko. You could buy a three day pass for 3,500 yen and stop offat different places on the way. Buses ran everyhalf hour mostly and were easy to navigate. The hotel is a traditional style accommodation. There was a group of four of us who slept in the 1 room. It was tight but we were rarely in the room and it was only an overnight so it was okay. 37,000 yen for the four of us. It was clean and warm when we arrived and very warm for the whole night. English is not great but they don't hold it against you and we had google translate. The onsen was amazing at an extra 600 yen tax. There are two. The sulphur smell was pretty strong throughout the night which was probably the only downside but I'm sure it would be the same in all the hotels in that area. We did have to get them to organise extra bedding which they were happy to do but you need to be very specific in what your needs were and be able to explain it. Ours came with a breakfast option at an extra 1000 yen each which was a traditional Japanese style and well worth it. There are no shops around the area so take your own snacks. No dinner options in the immediate area. Although you could probably do a 30 minute walk to the Falls where they may have some food options or there might be more options as borders open up. The lake walk is about 6k and very easy. Not really pram friendly. Great place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds of Nikko. The Falls walk is about 30 to 40 minutes and there is food available but I'm not sure when it opens or closes, a great place to have an ice cream and toilets. There are other hikes in the area but we ran out of time.

A hotel where you can stay at a reasonable price within Nikko Yumoto. I stayed in the annex called Aizanso, and the room was spacious and not bad. Unfortunately, WiFi is only available in the lobby and is very weak. Also, my back hurts because there is no mat on the futon. If these two points could be improved, I think it would be a good accommodation with good cost performance. Dinner was a hot pot buffet, and breakfast was individual Japanese food. There are two hot springs. You can pick up the amenities you need by yourself. We have everything you need.

My family and I stayed at the annex Aizanso for a night without meals. The building is old, so the interior decoration and equipment are reasonable, but the rooms were spacious enough and seemed to be well-maintained. Since heating is done only by a powerful gas heater, adjusting the room temperature in a large room requires some tricks. The futon was a traditional rice cracker futon, but I was surprisingly able to sleep without feeling cold even at night when the outside temperature was close to 0 degrees. As the name of the hotel suggests, the hot springs are wonderful, and the cloudy white water and strong sulfur smell are very impressive. The indoor bath in the annex is lukewarm, while the main building with the open-air bath is hot. The next morning, my family unanimously said that their skin felt moisturized, and even I, a middle-aged man, was surprised to see that my skin was noticeably moisturized. The customer service is polite, and if you don't have too high expectations based on the beautiful photos and decorations on the website, you'll be satisfied.I think it's a very reasonable inn with reasonable prices. The location is good and it's probably the best place to spend time with friends. The bookshelf in the lobby is also interesting because the tastes of the winners are biased in a good way, so please stop by.
