Hotels in Times Square, New York

Overall, a decent budget stay for NYC. We appreciated the separate bunk beds for my sister and I, but we did find stains in the bedsheet and had to ask for a new set. Also, perhaps it’s summer, but the beds didn’t have actual duvets or comforters; there were thin throw blankets. Also, the pillows were super soft and had an odd smell so I didn’t end up sleeping with pillows. The cleaning lady on my floor was very friendly though and offered to change our towels and empty our trash everyday. The other typical hotel room amenities (toothbrush, toothpaste, water, etc.) were not provided. Location is great and very central to NYC so no complaints there. We also used the luggage storage and airport car service. We checked out at noon, went out for lunch, and came back to the car we booked. The prices are very reasonable: we paid $90 (+$10 tip) for a car to JFK that fit two people and four suitcases. A great deal compared to the at least $150 on Uber. Overall a decent stay in NYC if you are on a budget.

WiFi wasn’t working. I was told it had not been working for days. Unbelievable for a hotel in the center of New York City. Will never come back

The hotel was perfectly adequate. The front desk staff was helpful, and the all-day coffee machine was great. I wish there had been more of a breakfast than just putting out bagels until they were gone, but the overall stay was quite good value for money.

The service is very good. The room is small but adequate. The bed is big and soft. I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. The furniture is old-fashioned. There is a TV playing the latest news.

We really enjoyed our stay at Little Manhattan Lodge. We booked the Garden King room (#1A) . We ended up having the whole lower level of the house to ourselves. It was nice because we had our own private entrance from the street.! We were able to go into the main house as well to use the kitchen and to store items in the refrigerator. We were also allowed to use the washer and dryer in the basement, although we didn't. I would give this property five stars but may downgrade to four stars due to the following: 1) The Wi-Fi was not very good on the bottom level... not sure how it was in the main building. 2) The beds were super firm, and the pillows were a little flat but we still slept well( probably due to exhaustion). 3) We really would have liked to have a TV in the room just to have some quiet noise to unwind after our busy day. There are no televisions in the rooms. We ended up streaming a few shows on our tablets (using our own mobile hotspot). Overall, the location was fantastic, and we would definitely book again! Great hotel, very comfortable. Reasonably priced considering NYC prices. Location is not too far from central touristy attractions, but this neighbourhood is a little dangerous especially at night.

Facilities: General business hotel configuration, kitchen in the room, complete with everything Hygiene: Fairly clean, but the flush toilet leaks Environment: Surrounded by business hotels, homeless, messy surroundings, not very clean, public transportation is convenient, and everything is close Service: Not much service, drinks and coffee are available on the first floor In general, weekend prices are several times higher than weekdays, and there is no way to deal with this price in midtown Manhattan at that time. If you have a choice, don't choose to go to NYC on weekends

The location is absolutely fantastic – just a 3-5 minute walk to Times Square and 7-10 minutes to Fifth Avenue. The room amenities were also quite good. Breakfast was a pretty basic continental spread; there were plenty of drink options, but the food itself was relatively simple. The only real drawback was the elevators during peak breakfast hours, where we sometimes had to wait 10 minutes or even longer. However, outside of that busy time, they were super quick.

The staff was very kind. I happened to meet them in the room during cleaning, and they were polite and cheerful, and the front desk staff greeted me pleasantly every time I went out, so I felt very comfortable. The convenient location was also perfect. It was close to Times Square, so it was lively, but that was also New York. I enjoyed it.

The room is not big, in the middle district of New York City, this area is OK. The facilities are complete, clean and tidy, the front desk clerk is friendly, and I will stay here next time.
