The rooms are clean and tidy, the air is fresh, and some room types can overlook the mountain or valley, which is refreshing. The public space displays the works of many local artists, adding cultural atmosphere. Breakfast is simple but full of heart. The overall service is friendly and gives people the feeling of going home. It is a good choice to relax and feel the slow life. It is suitable for couples or families to travel."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-8 minute walk from Banqiao MRT Station, Banqiao Station, and the Far Eastern Department Store. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. However, my only complaints were that in our twin room, the air conditioning vent blew directly onto the bed, and the shower head had very weak water pressure. What was truly unreasonable was our check-in experience. We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM. At that time, there were no other guests at the front desk. We asked if we could complete the check-in formalities early and then wait for our room to be ready. The front desk staff, however, rigidly stated that at 12 PM, they only processed check-outs, and check-ins could only be done strictly after 2:30 PM. This was despite there being no one else at the front desk, not even for check-out. It's beyond my comprehension why they insisted on being so inflexible. If there were no other guests, why couldn't they process check-ins for customers who arrived early, instead of making us wait until precisely 2:30 PM?? We had no choice but to wait at a nearby coffee shop until then. When we returned at 2:30 PM, we found 7-8 guests already queued up, all trying to check in, with only one staff member handling everyone. It was utterly ridiculous. 😓 I truly wonder what management was thinking; this process felt incredibly inefficient and showed a complete lack of customer consideration. From the very moment we attempted to check in, we formed a poor impression of the hotel. We will definitely not be staying here again in the future!"

"-Shower and toilet are separate, which is more convenient. -Breakfast is way too pricy so I did not buy. -Each floor is equipped with a water dispenser, a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch that ensures I never have to worry about staying hydrated. However, the complete absence of trash bins in the public areas can be rather inconvenient at times, making it challenging to dispose of waste promptly. -The view from the high-floor rooms is absolutely stunning!"

"Before booking, I had read reviews about the hotel's general condition. I was excited to check in, but was pleasantly surprised when I received my room. I arrived early, and the staff informed us that our room had been upgraded, giving us a free ocean view room. It was a welcome bonus. The room was clean and tidy, with no odors, and the air conditioning worked well. 👍🏿 Breakfast was simple and healthy: croissant, scrambled eggs, corn salad, fried chicken, sausage, toast...it was delicious. 👍🏿👍🏿 The staff were friendly and courteous. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I visit Jiufen. 😁"

"Cozy bed and breakfast with very nice view room (sea view) very well located, just 5 min away walking distance to jiufen old street. The owners are very kind and were very helpful giving us many information of things to do nearby. From the first time they texted us to know our arrival time to meet us where the bus dropped us. I would really like to recommend this place. Everyone that stay the night in Jiufen must stay in this place. Thank you very much guys for your hospitality."

"The hotel's Wi-Fi was completely unreliable on our first night in a room near the street. Afterward, we moved to another room and it worked fine. The triple room we booked had three beds, which was adequate. The room had a few sockets, though I had to use the one in the bathroom to charge my phone. The breakfast was average. There are four small restaurants across the street where you can try local cuisine for breakfast or lunch."

"For this price and location in Jiufen, I doubt you could find a better place. Given that the outdoors in Jiufen can often be home to many insects, it was unbelievable how much this place felt like stepping into an entirely different, pristine world. It was truly spotless, cozy, had great bedding, and felt both neat and spacious. The mountain views were also stunning. Definitely a place I want to visit again!"
