Best Hotels near Five Islands Park, New Rochelle

Glenia and Genesis helped us coordinate the room block for my wedding group reservations. They were very attentive and knew what they were doing! They provided updated room block PDFs regularly and even took notes on the shuttle service we hired to the bring guests back and forth to the venue. They also helped us coordinate events at the NoMa Social on the 1st floor such as rehearsal dinner and send off breakfast. They also have the option to store your gifts for your guests to give out when they check in. This really is a great hotel for your wedding guests needs! The outdoor seating area is perfect in the summertime! And our guests seemed to enjoy the pool (I personally did not go there). BUT MY BIGGEST RECOMMENDATION is when you book your room, REQUEST A HIGH LEVEL FLOOR! My husband (the groom) ended up on the 2nd floor right above the NoMa and it was beyond loud most of the night!!! Honestly, they shouldn’t even have rooms directly above the NoMa and use those rooms for a different purpose such as storage or a bridal suite. He got this room because he showed up a few days early before we had the suite booked. The suite itself is 2 conjoining rooms and nothing special but does the trick with plenty of space. The hotel itself is very nice, and beautifully updated. Although the exterior is very old and outdated (as most Radissons are), they did a nice job remodeling the inside. Don’t expect something super over the top fancy though, it’s literally enough to suit the purpose. If you’re looking for something high class, go to a hotel in White Plains.

The breakfast buffet was great, the environment was good, the room had kitchen facilities, then I had a separate laundry room on this floor, a great hotel, I heard that many pre-school students lived here, so definitely not wrong. !

I have stayed about 7 nights at this hotel, during 2 trips. I would like to compliment Jae-mone at the front desk for her help and kindness during my 2nd stay. The hotel is conveniently located near people I needed to visit. It is clean and most of the staff was helpful. However, the breakfasts were not replenished enough during the times there should have been food and what was available in the last half hour was nowhere near what was available early on. During my first trip I had no issues with the room but during the second trip there were, and although I requested help they were not fixed. People should be aware that this hotel is in a commercial area, there is no place to walk to if you need a pharmacy or a meal, except a brewery which looked great and featured food trucks. I felt perfectly safe there and will definitely return there.

Came to Sonesta to rest the night after having a terrible day and my day immediately became better off of two interactions with the staff. Danaya and a bartender who I saw from 6-7pm. I was on line ready to check in with a down look on my face since I wasn’t able to return home after working a double at the hospital. As I go up to check in I’m greeted with this amazing energy, positive attitude, vibe and aura that can immediately make you smile after just a couple of sentences. This person is Danaya. She made my day so much better after just a small conversation. I did come back down later to drop my girlfriend off to her car and again me and her both were greeted with the same energy that I had received a couple of hours earlier. I do believe that every job and every place deserves someone like Danaya! The amount of joy I received after checking in truly made my night so much better and I wish her all the best! I wish I had asked for the bartender’s name who made me a Caribbean rum punch! I sat down after speaking with Danaya who told me about happy hour, and ask the bartender for his favorite drink since I had just turned 21 a week/ 2 weeks ago. He immediately went to work on the first drink I’ve had out of the many I’ve had in this short time that I enjoyed. I’m not big on Alcohol since I’m just now exploring it but the one he had made for me was amazing. With his cheerful attitude and quickness of the drink I was definitely grateful for him being there! Wish him all the best also! The room was amazing and something not many people realize is how important it is to have such good water while showering. I feel like it’s always overlooked but my shower was fantastic here. The king sized bed I had was like sleeping and a cloud and the channels they had were great to watch. Tv was amazing and everything was clean. The window has an amazing view! This hotel is amazing. From the rooms, to the guest and to the staff that do their best to provide nothing but the best service you can receive. Any hotel can offer a bed to sleep on and a happy hour but none do it better than Sonesta! Thank you to all who work there and I wish you the best in life. And another personal thanks to Danaya, the bartender who served me, and to whoever cleaned my room before and after my stay! I wish nothing but great things for you guys! The room was great and the front desk goes above and beyond 24/7. I just want to shout out my girl Shania she really made my stay feel like a home away from home. Thank you again for the amazing hospitality.

I booked three rooms for two nights. Changing the reservation to get rid of one night took an hour on the phone as they bounced me between central and the local hotel, and I never got a written change confirmation. My daughter had. a smoky room. In the middle of the night she screamed and banged on our door. An intruder, she said, had opened the door to the adjoining room. The phone didn't work, so we went to the front desk and the clerk did not call security, but decided that my daughter must be wrong and it must have been a refrigerator door banging. So, we had to wake up the other daughter to put the terrified daughter in her room. I asked the clerk for a refund and she promised the manager would call soon. He did not call until I posted the online review Hilton requested. Management refunded $80 (which was inadequate), but did not solve any of the problems for subsequent guests x. Hilton corporate refused to get involved. No fix for the refrigerator door. No check of whether the lock was picked. No cure for the smokey room. No followup on the reservation change problem. Contacting three ”team members” did little good , as they simply are not into meeting customers' expectations or solving problems so future guests will have a better experience.

On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, my 83-year old mother (who uses a walker), 2 sisters and I traveled 110+ miles by car to attend my uncle's funeral. We stayed at this location 1 night in an accessible room. I was unable to drop my mother off at the entrance of the hotel due to repairs being made to the front of the hotel (they were repaving the front entry driveway). We needed a luggage cart to carry our belongings inside the hotel; one cart was in use, and the staff was unable to locate another cart. While checking in, a heavyset man behind the front desk explained that there would be a $100 hold placed on the credit card used online to pay for the stay in case we ordered something from the lobby convenience store or other. I asked ”other” like what? He said if something is wrong in the room after we checkout. I explained to him that my mom, sisters and I (we're all OVER 50 years old) are here to attend her brother's funeral the next day. I assured him that we had no intentions to do anything wrong to the room. He said after we checkout, the $100 hold would be released on the credit card within 3-5 days. As of this writing, it's been 1 day since checkout and the $100 hold is still on the credit card. We paid for our stay online in advance, and nowhere during that process were we advised that there would be a $100 hold place on the credit card. If the $100 hold is standard policy at Hampton Inn & Suites, this policy should CLEARLY be stated while making online reservations. Had we been advised of this $100 hold in advance, we certainly would NOT have made a reservation at this location. I hated that we had an additional unexpected expense at this location during our bereavement. As a repeat customer, I expected better from Hampton Inn & Suites. I'm very disappointed.

The best hostel in NYC (ps: ensure no food in room!!!!! , otherwise tom & gerry will not make u be peaceful haha, besides fantastic, esp the employees are the best 🤍)

In general, it is attracted by the photos on the hotel page of Ctrip.com, and it is too great to exclaim the photographer after arriving at the hotel. Just a small roadside hotel, this price is not worth living.
