😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I vigorously DO NOT RECOMMEND this "grand/ historic/ top-rated boutique hotel".!!! Upon my arrival to Bourbon Orleans Hotel, unfortunately, I encountered quite a few substandard events. To start off, the hotels' valet apprentices were NOT competent nor qualified, said information discussed at departure by ALL management. Unlawfully, my prescriptions were stolen, and this unfortunate event was agonizingly overlooked by Bourbon Orleans Hotel along with the valet service that was used. As a result of this fiasco, I spent my vacation in bed and in pain by virtue of/ thanks to this adversity. So, because of this unpredictable outcome, I requested a FULL refund from valet management, which was resolved. In addition to the prior instance, another one came about when returning home and reviewing my credit card transactions. I noticed that Bourbon Orleans Hotel charged my account. This charge was of concern to me because my balcony, loft suite was already prepaid for MONTHS IN ADVANCE through Trip.com.!!! So, management investigated this issue and assured a refund. However, they never disclosed any additional information with me in relation to this SUBSTANTIAL amount. Now, 2 weeks later I'm STILL waiting on my refund and can't seem to get management on the phone to discuss this casualty.!!! All in all, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this "supposedly" 4/5 star rated, elegant, grand, historic hotel that is named one of New Orleans Top Hotels.! Bourbon Orleans Hotel mislead me as well as fabricated information to try and cover up their erroneousness/ blunder. Honestly, if they don't want to use a third-party website to conduct business with and then TRY to charge their guests anyways, then they need to cancel their services with them. Simple as that.!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the French Quarter.

The doors in all rooms slammed very loud. You can't sleep late even if you wanted to. Great location and staff.

Bed bugs! This is a 2 star hotel in disguise. We had 2 shabby sixth floor rooms- barely working blinds on dormered attic like rooms, no soap in shower, large gaps under the doors which allowed hall noise and drafts, beds that cannot accommodate 2 people (putting 2 in a double bed is miserable, what hotel is still doing this?). The best part was the bed bug bites we took home as souvenirs. The only good thing about this place was the FQ location, although loud and lots of street noise.

Services was on point, Staff were great Style of the hotel was amazing. I wish the restaurant in the hotel would offer more than breakfast but there is plenty of restaurant in the area anyway. Hotel was surprinsingly quiet for a Bourbon street hotel: nice nights of sleep. I would go back anytime

I loved the closeness of everything near the French Quarter. Waking up behind the cathedral was amazing.

The Hotel is beautiful - the lady at the check in was very nice, upgraded our room to a balcony - which we didn't use b/c it was a bit too cold, but it was nice, over looking the pool. The room was very comfortable - we were there for a quick trip so using the tv was not a major priority - and glad we didn't because the remote didn't work. We had breakfast and it was ok. the service needs improving... a lot. Other than that, we did enjoy our visit.

The location is amazing, staff is all great, rooms and lobby are clean. BUT, the mattresses are awful, old, springy and uncomfortable, and the a/c in the rooms does not get anywhere near cold. For reference it was 40 outside so maintaining 65 in the room should’ve been easy, but it would never get cooler than about 70. Hopefully they get these mattresses upgraded and the ac fixed. For the price of a room that should be addressed.
