Kimpton Hotel Fontenot by IHG

Very old hotel and unclean carpet. Staff service extremely slow. It took me 30 minutes to get my car using valet parking. I don't understand how this hotel got this rating. The price at this level hotel is ironic. Don't book.

Staff at the front desk were OUTSTANDING! Room was clean it needed minor repairs but otherwise it was a very nice room

3/5 Comfortable stay, but a few issues My stay at the Kimpton Hotel was okay overall. The room was clean and the hotel had a nice boutique vibe, which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the space felt welcoming and large. That said, there were a few issues that took away from the experience. The TV wouldn’t connect to smart devices, which made it hard to stream anything. I also asked about a place to warm up food and was told a microwave would be brought to the room but it never came. When I followed up, I was told there were none available. Lastly, the shower had a serious leak that left water all over the bathroom floor every day. Aside from these problems, the stay was decent. I think with a few fixes to the amenities and communication, the experience could have been much better.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The room was clean and spacious, and the hotel staff were all friendly and professional.

The rooms were nice and clean and the staff from the front door all the way to the cafe and bar were even better. Special shout out to Alex, Ema, Maria, Aaron, and Ross for being beyond hospitable.
