The lobby felt a bit narrow, but the room was more visible from Kushiro port and I felt good. Breakfast was delicious with rice, free rice, and all. 8 months, but I was able to disinfect my fingers at the entrance, get my gloves, and eat with peace of mind. I couldn't slow down because it was early in the morning, but I want to stay again. It was better if the bath was on the top floor.
This inn features exquisite Hokkaido cuisines such as Hokkai shrimp and naturally-cultivated scallops prepared in the hamayaki method, which are the local specialties of Notsuke, as well as Teppo-jiru of Hanasaki crabs from the Nemuro Channel. All rooms in the main building have been renovated, and there is a new large bath filled with constant and free-flowing hot-spring water.

Full self-service hotel, so there is some trouble in Checkin because I didn't pay attention to the email, but fortunately, I can contact the staff remotely. Please be sure to pay attention to the message sent by the hotel in advance. The hotel itself is very fashionable, the container is changed, the car is parked at the door, and there is a convenience store across the road. The room equipment is OK, the heating is strengthened, and it looks like it will not be cold in winter.

The room we were in was huge - 2 big beds and a lounge, a huge bath and wet room. Lots of toiletries provided in the bathroom too. The heating needed to be on to 26 or 27 degrees as there was a cold draft coming from under the door and also from the cold windows. This kept the room about 22 degrees we thought. The food was dreadful and made 100 times worse as I am vegetarian... Tasteless vegetables boiled to death with very little protein offered. Breakfast was even worse and one morning I was left to have cabbage and chips as that was all there was that was vegetarian... No bread of breakfast cereal anywhere in sight. Thankfully there is a supermarket close by. It seems quite common in rural Japan to not cater for vegetarians.... so beware...
An inn where you can enjoy natural hot springs in the unexplored Shiretoko region and seafood from the "Fish Castle Town of Rausu".

It's quite outdated with signs of wear and tear. The tatami room size is modest but clean. It's located 3 minutes of drive from Rausu port and therefore quite convenient. Both dinner and breakfast are Japanese style set meal and have a good variety of hot and cold dishes. Onsen was adequate. There isn't much choice of accommodation in the area. Next to this is Rausu Daiichi Hotel that we stayed 5 years ago, which I reckoned as slightly better than this one.
