3-Star Hotels in Naples

The location is great, right next to Napoli Centrale, the ferries and most points of interest are an easy walk away, the service is perfect, an older type of hotel, which is the best option in Italy in my opinion. Would stay again without a doubt.

Close location to the main train station, however room was completely different to what I booked and to the pictures online so be warned. Paid for a single room and got a huge circle bed? Staff do not seem interested in talking and often ignore or barely speak. Expected to hand keys to reception every time you leave which seemed odd and a slight security risk if you have valuable items. Also check out is 10am.

The location is very good, very close to the train station, chain hotel, business is very good, at least health. Can recommend. Sound insulation is very good, double glazing, this is like. Overall satisfaction.

Hotel Cristina was fab, staff were amazing, breakfast sensational with so much choice! We were flying out from Naples airport and as we were staying a 4 hour drive away found it prudent to stay nearer the airport. A bit out of the way although the metro is on hand for those intrepid travellers and a taxi to Via Toledo, the main shopping area, cost €20. The hotel is very modern, spotless and amazing air conditioning in the main areas and bedrooms. The area looks a bit rundown and shabby but don’t let that put you off, situated as it is in a residential area there is plenty going on. Would definitely stay again if back in Naples

Our room was nicely spacious and well furnished. The bed was comfortable, there was a good sized wardrobe and a decent desk. The room was beautifully decorated, fresh and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a good shower, and was roomy plus, again, very well decorated. Also came with a hairdryer on the wall which I was very happy with. We didn't actually meet the owner but they were very helpful on WhatsApp. The internet was good once we realised logging into the named internet with our floor number made it stronger. Despite the cosmetic looks of the area we did actually feel safe and found the locals to be very friendly and helpful (although English is not prevalent). If you are visiting the Tabbaco shop at the bottom of the hill sells bus tickets but is shut on Sundays. Next door the mini supermarket is very well priced (well compared to UK prices). The buses leave from opposite the little newsstand (back side of it not the front) and head to Naples Central in about 15mins. Taxi from the Central Station was a maximum of 16euro and from the airport 30euro I can not comment on value for money as we booked a package deal but despite the location I would stay again because it was so nice, stylish, quiet and comfortable. We just returned from a ten day trip to Italy where Hotel Il Convento was one of four places we stayed. It was my favorite, from the very comfortable bed and the great air conditioning, to the very friendly staff and the delicious breakfast. This was the only hotel that gave us a full breakfast that included eggs, meats and cheeses as well as delicious pastries. Our room had a private balcony which was very appreciated, in order to relax outdoors at the end of our busy days. I highly recommend Hotel Il Convento!

We stayed here for a night while on a trip to Italy. The hotel was located in a 'scary' area of town. Not the best showers, and the AC wasn't the best The safe worked though as well as the WIFI. Slept well too! Just remember it was a budget hotel, so you get what you paid for.

Excellent location in the historic centre of Naples, just a few minutes walk from Dante Square and metro station, via dei tribunal and all its restaurants, via toledo and its shops and working a half hour walk from anywhere you'd want to visit. The hotel itself is tucked up a wee side street and is a gem. It's bright, modern, spacious and full of great staff. Our room was so big, we had a bed and a couch, tea making facilities, a wee outdoor seating area to ourselves and a very powerful shower. There's also a communal outdoor seating area, indoor areas with seats, books, boardgames and all nicely decorated. Breakfast was fantastic as were the staff on duty. There was plenty choice, meats, cheese, bread, fruit, cereal, salad, spreads, rustic pizza and the most amazing pastries. Plenty coffee and special coffees made to order. The hotel is very handy for public transport to airport and Pompeii or amalfi coast. Metro is across the road and five stops takes you to main train station at Piazza Garibaldi which is where the Alibus runs every 15 minutes to airport. As we were arriving late at night we booked the airport transfer provided by the hotel, this was a bit expensive as there is a surcharge after 9pm. We didn't fancy the taxi or hunting for bus stop in the dark so bit the bullet and went with the car. The driver wasn't there when we arrived but after contacting the hotel Marco turned up and had us at the hotel door in no time, in comfort, I'm glad he was joking about the VW Polo he initially led us to. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Brilliant location, staff and comfort. Loved it.
