The worst hotel ever! The entry is directly off a main road with a very narrow pavement. Everything is very old, the hotel has probably seen better days in the past but it's now nothing but ancient ruins. The air-conditioning didn't work either. I was booked for 3 nights but I couldn't stay there more than one night before I moved to a better hotel.

It's near the road, noisy, and the hotel facilities are old. But it is clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The hotel is relatively old, the environment is OK. Breakfast is simple. But it's clean and very European.

I'm sorry, but I've never seen such a meager breakfast. I arrive at 9:35 in the breakfast room, I repeat we are in Naples, I don't find a croissant or a simple tart or any other homemade dessert. Four mini muffins and three frozen number rolls placed on the table. At my complaints, a waiter shrugs the second embarrassingly, we are in a 4 star hotel he tells me, teasing me, that the croissants are being cooked.... nothing will arrive. We are not there at all I'm sorry but I don't know how they treat customers.

This hotel is nice and the service is excellent. Close to a church, elegant environment. The waiters were very nice and the breakfast was good. Because it is a certain distance from the city center, it is especially suitable for those who drive by themselves.

The structure is in an area of Naples (moreover very beautiful) not very far from the center but with public transport in the evening it is very tiring to reach it and also a little isolated. During the day, however, many buses pass by If you have to stay here it is better to rent a vehicle. The staff is very kind, professional and helpful We had breakfast and the service is decent with very good hours (7 to 10). The room with bathroom is spacious but in the evening the noise of passing cars, etc. is a bit disturbing The structure is generally good. Cleaning is just enough

I spent 8 nights from 14-22 May with a large room with attached bathroom. The hotel is in a most awkward and dangerous location, quite far out of the city (over 1.5 miles), and sited directly on the kerb of a tremendously busy 4 lane highway. A pedestrian cannot cross it safely. The traffic is intense day and night, as is the noise. It is one of the busiest routes in the city. There is no pavement outside at all. The cars speed by, less than one meter from the front door ! Frankly, I found this frightening, and unacceptable. One false step and you could be run over by a speeding car or bus. Inside, the fittings are shabby and worn. My room was furnished poorly, with a creaking bed and hard mattress, plus one small dining chair and desk. No armchair. No UBS socket. The windows and shutters had broken catches so they would not close; dirty outside glazing, and dusty curtains that left grey powder when pulled. It was very noisy from the ceaseless road traffic. The bed linen was clean. The shower had hot water. The towels were fresh each day. The room had a TV, which I did not use. No laundry service. No restaurant. The outside terrace was closed off, due to falling plaster. The bar was unwelcoming and dingy. There is no public lounge. The lifts are small and very slow. The breakfast was simple, but in a nice corner room. The best thing about this hotel was the two kind and helpful concierges (Alessandro and Hugo). This certainly does not merit 4 stars. I give it 2. The building has no architectural merit. The photos on the website are inaccurate, with distorting lenses.

We were booked in wrong Grand Hotel Capidimonte should have been Sorrento not Naples. This place is awful. The location is terrible on a duel carriageway with no footpath. The room was disgusting and we couldnt even unpack as I knew I couldnt sleep there. The staff however were helpful & helped us get to the train station to get to Sorrento. Please dont look at the 4* reviews on Tui as a lot of the good ones are for the Sorrento hotel which is nothing like this.
