Best Western Hotel dei Mille

We had a very good stay. It was two blocks away from the train and bus central station (1 block from Piazza Garibaldi), super convinient. At night it´s not the best area but it was safe. Great neibourhood to buy and eat on a budget but not the best option if you want to chill. The room was bright with big windows and the bathroom too, with a mini balcony, very napolitan and lovely! There was a weird strong smell from the sulfur but i´ve heard that´s normal in Napoli. Very nice and helpful staf, everybody was lovely. A little oasis from the great noise outside the hotel! Recomend!

Even with 2 people, the neighbourhood was shall we say, intense. I wouldn’t walk alone at night. The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.

When arrived our first impression wasn't that good in terms of the hotel's entrance, as well as it's reception (it looked like very old, damaged and not renovated for ages) , but fortunately our rooms where renovated, as the photos shown in their website (superior double rooms), with well-working air-condition, small fridge(supplied with some free snacks and soft drinks) , hair dryer and safety box. WiFi was really poor, we didn't have signal almost at all during our 5days-stay there. Breakfast was tasty, many options for sweets and salty tastes, and the ladies serving were very kind and smiling, willing to help, despite the fact that their English wasn't in good level. On our arrival they wanted to charge us more for the tax fee per night, while we weren't informed for that before our arrival, but we sorted out and agreed to not pay the difference in the end. We could leave/store the luggages for free for a couple of hours after our check-out, which was very helpful and nice from them. The location was good as it was 2' on foot from Garibaldi central station and 15-20' walking form the historic center, but bad in terms of neighbourhood (too dirty street, awful smell outside hotel from street's rubbish etc and the feeling was strange in the night walks, you could feel kinda unsafe due to the people living and walking around that street-especially when talking about family booking with kids). Also while our stay there some renovations were taking place and the elevator was all the time busy and we had to wait some times to get down from 5th floor or use the stairs eventually. For its prices, it was okay the overall experience.

Location is good, nice suprise that the minibar was including you just have to ask cleaning every day that they refill it. Breakfast was ok, lot's of sweet things though.

The area that this hotel is in is absolutely awful - really didn’t feel safe walking around the streets. Convenient location for the train station tho Rooms are very tired looking - marks everywhere on the walls, but bedding and bathroom clean. Shower head wasn’t working properly tho. Staff were ok, cleaners were very rude though, tutting at us for going down the stairs while cleaning was taking place. Ok if you’re desperate for cheap accommodation but certinaltly wouldn’t stay here again

The hotel is nice I like the room very much the person that clean is great I won’t change anything other that the location that is dirty but very convenient to the train station and a lot of restaurants.

The room was unbelievably dirty. No hot water, dirty linens, the toilet was broken, mirror was broken and the walls had writings all over. The service was terrible, the receptionist didn’t even tell us the direction of our room.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff friendly. Rooms were very rundown, shower had mould in it, the shower door was cracked held together by tape, holes and marks on walls. Closet had one door and in rough shape. Toilet leaking water on floor. Close to trains/ metro but need to walk through area that smells of urine and watch where you step because of crap on ground ( not hotel fault). Hotel is doing renovations so maybe interior will improve.

An affordable hotel very close to train station. Rooms with bathroom are very spacious and clean. Excellent and inexpensive breakfast.
