Hotels near Laomendong Historic District in Nanjing

Beyond impressive, I really enjoyed staying here with traditional decorating. First time of solo trip, I felt safe in Nanjing and this hotel. It’s cleanliness and your cat was adorable even it ignored me hahha. If I have a chance to visit Nanjing, this hotel would be the top of the list. Thank you . Moreover, It would be better if you have English name of hotel at the front.

Hotel is within walking distance to many attractions in Nanjing (Fuzi Temple, Old East Gate) and these places turn incredibly stunning at night. Facilities, cleanliness and amenities are what you would expect at a 5 star hotel and it is within the confines of a traditional picturesque garden which guests can access 24/7. Slightly disappointed that the Chinese Opera Show is only available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Great Holiday Inn experience. Good value for money, very central and conveniently located next to malls, tourist areas and amazing eateries. From arrival, the staff are genuinely kind and courteous. A shout out to Alan for checking us in quickly, even though it is a timely process for foreigners. He also upgraded our stay, which was a pleasant surprise! 😁 As for the property, and amenities, it is standard Holiday Inn vibes, though a bit dated and in need of a modern facelift. I would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and travelers to Nanjing.

The location is great, though it's a slight walk from the metro station or nearest taxi dropoff site. Breakfast is very yummy, and staff are really helpful. Just be careful, though. Although the hotel is lovely, it's close to a live music venue that has loud performances late into the night. It's also in an area with pretty high foot traffic, so the sound of people shopping and eating late into the night will easily reach you, too. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the best place for you. I loved it, and I really enjoyed being so close to really good music and high energy. Just know what you're getting into. Besides the noise, though, the hotel has a really peaceful vibe and it's super comfortable. 10/10, I would stay here again.

A very good travel experience. The location of Zhuangyuan Building is very good, right next to the Confucius Temple archway. The front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff were all friendly and courteous. The front desk helped us upgrade to a premium room with a view. Looking at the panoramic view of the Confucius Temple scenic area, we will definitely come back when we visit Nanjing again. This hotel👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

A quiet hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle, you can walk to various attractions in 5-30 minutes. It is located in the Jinling Manufacturing Factory, the largest ****nal, and is still assisting in the creation of some works. There are some sculptures and old buildings inside that are also easy to explore. Go to Baoen Temple as soon as you go out. Along the river is the outer Qinhuai River Cruise Terminal. Across the bridge is the Zhonghua Gate and the City Wall Museum. Walk through the small streets and alleys beside the city wall and look at the map to the Confucius Temple, the inner Qinhuai River and Zhanyuan Garden. The decoration in the store is stylish, the room is a little small but the hygiene is good, and there are trees outside the first floor window to block the view. Breakfast is better. The disadvantage is that it is not close to the subway station and there are not many places to eat nearby.

After choosing for a long time, I finally chose Laomendong Manxinfu. The hotel looks beautiful, especially in the spring when many flowers bloom. Xiaohu’s service is very enthusiastic and he even helped me to send something back when I forgot to check out. The room is clean and the facilities are very good. There are also free drinks and water. The TV can be cast to the screen, which is very convenient. You can see the night view of the Qinhuai River from the room. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Laomendong. The breakfast in the hotel is good. There are duck blood fans and salted duck. It will become a A small bar is very comfortable, the hotel has Starbucks coffee service, and there is a 24-hour convenience store at the door. Overall, it is highly recommended to stay and will come back next time!

The hotel is owned by Junting. The first floor below is an antique bookstore, and there is a small cafe on the first floor. The books on the bookshelf can be taken back to the room to read and returned to the front desk when checking out. Breakfast is also on the first floor. Breakfast is provided upon check-in, which is semi-self-service. The staple food chosen the night before each day for the next day includes beef noodles, duck blood vermicelli, wontons, etc. Although the hotel does not have a robot to deliver food, please note that there will be front desk personnel at the front desk to deliver it to the room. very nice. The room is very elegant and I like the decoration style very much. Although it faces the street, it's not noisy. Minibar is free. There are also two free facial masks on the bedside. Because this room type is a room at both ends, and the window faces a residential building, those who value privacy need to draw the curtains. The cleaning of the bathtub needs improvement. Overall recommended to stay.

Great location! Aitao is a few minutes away from Confucius Temple, also within walking distance of Lao Men Dong and Zhong Hua Gate city wall. With its gorgeous backyard overlooking Bai Lu Zhou park, it is a perfect little oasis just steps away from all that hustle and bustle at Confucius Temple. When the sights and sounds become overwhelming, you come sit in the backyard with a cold drink, tranquility… Staff is really nice and professional. All around it was a very pleasant stay.
