This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! If you are interested in the hotel industry, you must find this great god to chat when you have the chance! A rare learning opportunity!!! It's a pity that I forgot to take more photos of the hotel interior, and only took some photos of the breakfast restaurant, so it may not reflect the excellence of JW. I used it on a solo trip. We arrived at Kenya's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport just after 7:30 pm, and although it was already past the hotel check-in time, we were able to get in. I was scheduled to be picked up by the safari tour at 7am the next morning, so it was a really short stay, but the staff kindly explained everything to me even though I didn't know anything, and I was very worried about safety. However, the driver also took me to a nearby ATM. Breakfast is buffet style and the cook will make an omelet for you. Everything was delicious. The room was simple, but the facilities were very clean and I wanted to relax a little more! I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity. I'm really thankful to you.

Overall it was ok. Pros, good location, the staff are friendly and the room is decent. Cons, the reception is inefficient and check in takes longer than it should. It’s like we are first customer that has ever checked in. Lots of confusion. My ac did not work. I had to call 3 times to reception before someone turned up. They said the ac does not work here. Did not bother to check anything because it seem normal for the ac not to work. I told him it’s very hot in this room and I can’t sleep. Also ac is basic especially if you are calling yourself a 5 star hotel. He shrugged and said I can get you a fan. Got very little sleep and I think they don’t service the ac to save on electricity. It’s a poor attitude from the management especially for a “5 Star” hotel. It’s more like a 3 star. Better places to go for the same price. Will not return.

It feels very good. The hotel has Chinese food. The hotel staff and hotel managers are very friendly and attentive. There are shopping malls near the hotel, a few minutes’ drive away, and shopping is also convenient. After staying there for a week, the hotel can rent a car and it is safe to go out. There, I ran out of money, the hotel manager was a Chinese, and he also helped to accept the domestic WeChat exchange of RMB for US dollars. It was almost a sense of seeing a fellow countryman. Very grateful for the hotel's help, very humane. Will stay there next time I go.

There are no luggage trolleys, which make it very difficult to take luggage up to your apartment. The concierges are very helpful and the security personal are polite and helpful too. Our apartment was very nice. Clean, bright and comfortable. The views arw amazing,ing from the balcony. We were very disappointed as our main reason for choosing Sky Nest was their facilities. Their pool has been out of commission for over a week, and we never recieved any solid information as to when it would be repaired. We could not make full use of the gym either. Their tread mills are not running smoothly, they are jerky and dangerous. The convenience shop on the ground floor is extremely useful. They sell everyday basics from water, soap, shampoo, condiments, wines and spirits and more. The restaurant, Slate, is okay. We did mot enjoy our dishes. The staff are very professional, courteous and friendly. The management truly needs to be on top of everything, to make sure that everything is in top working condition. It has been very disappointing in that respect.

The breakfast buffet had an excellent array of choices and everything on offer was enjoyable. The staff was helpful and courteous. The security process and security doors and card access only areas seemed a bit over the top but we did indeed feel secure. We enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner on the top floor of the hotel. It was a memorable experience. My only complaint is that though I had the air conditioning on and temperature set to cool the room a bit, the unit was running during our two day stay and never cooled the room or reached the temperature chosen. Also the in room phone did not work. I did request a maintenance person come to check on both f these issues and no one ever came. The bed was very comfortable and the modern style of the room was nice.

The staff at Four Points are Hurlingham are fantastic. They are excellent at customer service - which is what makes my stays memorable. The dedication and care that I receive every time I stay will keep me coming back. Every day as I leave for and return from work, I am greeted by the reception staff, housekeeping staff, security staff and welcomed with a smile by Pablo’s restaurant staff (Faith is exceptionally pleasant). The quality of food is top notch thanks to Chef Howard and his team (including but not limited to Chef Dominic, Beryl, Clarice and Chef Danstand). For my most recent trip, I made a request to have my dietary needs accommodated and everything I asked for was done with such professionalism and kindness that I feel truly cared for. One tip for those who have not been to Nairobi before, be prepared to be requested to comply to the security checks on entry into the hotel. It may seem burdensome however, it is necessary due to the historical context of Kenya. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me for places to stay on business in Nairobi.

The food was delicious and very well presented. The staff and stewards were very friendly. I commend Christine for a very warm welcome and for an ample dining experience. Panari has a great ambience and I would definitely like to come again and again
