Hotels near Masai Mara National Reserve, Nairobi

We booked a five day stay at Sarova Stanley and honestly it was the best decision. From the moment we arrive, we are greeted warmly by the staff and took care right away of our baggages. Upon entry they took care of us with warm towels and refreshments which was absolutely lovely. We arrived early at the hotel at 11am inspite of the check in time of 2pm they immediately processed everything as they gave us consideration because we are travelling with an infant, we are so lucky and did I mention we were given an upgrade! We were always looking forward to breakfast as the food is chef's kis. Location is amazing Pool is always cleaned and not crowded at all. The staffs are very attentive to your needs. Stanley Sarova is indeed a stort to tell and I highly recommend staying especially with family. I highly recommend to stay on this hotel.

Faye with housekeeping was friendly and kept the room nice and clean. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. As a an athlete and swimmer, it was nice to have an adequate pool to exercise in. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the different choices. As an extensive traveler I think this hotel is overpriced for the offering. I might consider staying again if the room rate is lower.

I do n’t know how to say it well. When I booked a room, the Ctrip introduction on the hotel was more than 50 square meters, but when I arrived at the hotel, I found that the room was only about 12 square meters. The difference was quite different from the description. There are only two types of rooms in this hotel. One is only about 12 square meters, and the other is more than 90 square meters in two rooms (I went to see it later) ... So I just let it go for 5 days, ha Haha! I will finish the room I reserved. Later, Ctrip paid 80 yuan, but their platform is indeed cheaper than other platforms, and it solves problems quickly and has a good attitude.

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! If you are interested in the hotel industry, you must find this great god to chat when you have the chance! A rare learning opportunity!!! It's a pity that I forgot to take more photos of the hotel interior, and only took some photos of the breakfast restaurant, so it may not reflect the excellence of JW. Because I needed an extra bed with my baby, I mainly chose the deluxe room, which is a one-and-a-half-bedroom room with a relatively large area. The window of the inner room faces the atrium, which means there is no window and no sunlight in the room. The bathroom smells like a sewer, and I can't find the exhaust switch or feel the strong exhaust. I just made do with it for one night, but I probably won't choose it next time.

Very satisfied with the hotel, from the security guard to the front desk to the hotel manager, they are all enthusiastic and smiling. The bar and restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is very convenient for eating. I was particularly touched that the beautiful woman who looked like the lobby manager helped me book a taxi to the airport. Due to language barriers, I can only simply say ”thank you”. I will stay here again when I go to Kenya next year. Thank you again!

I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights on 07 March 2024. The room were very clean I even left a tip for the room cleaner for the first time in my life. Really, Everything was lovely, breakfast, food on rooftop restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definately I will be coming back. Happy customer, Kate😃

That's a wonderful hotel! From the pick up at the airport, Judy was really kind and professional. She handled us with utmost courtesy and my whole team was in great appreciation of her. She always arranged our transport in a timely fashion and together with the driver, they made our pick ups and drop offs worry-free even at very late hours. So we surely will stay at Argyle even in the future in our many forthcoming business trips. The front desk was always helpful and catered to our needs. Mariam and Kate in particular took worked fast and at ease in a cordial fashion. They provided all necessary information for my team and made us make 3 subsequent bookings during our stay, we didn't want anything less. Of course, food was great and the service there was just amazing! Jacinta and her colleagues were so nice, my team enjoyed the food and the overall presentation of the whole buffet.
