Wildebeest Eco Camp

Beautiful glamping experience, great service and facilities. Perfect location close to Nairobi NP. Highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wanted a relaxed, unique experience. Bar and restaurant on site do delicious food as well .

Very clean, nice site and good location. Beds good and tent as described. Few frustrating bits Dinner menu very limited and quality ok at best for price. Pool out if order I did not like two tier breakfast menu. Some tents get a better breakfast than others. Breakfast service very slow and we had to ask lots of times for butter and milk. (I am normally very generous with my reviews- however too many frustrating bit for me hear)

A lovely haven within close reach of Nairobi city centre and the Nairobi National Park. We stayed for one night as a stopover on our way to Amboseli. We stayed in rooms 28 and 29 which was set apart from the rest of the complex and quiet. 28 was a double and 29 was a twin. They also had tented cabins available closer to the restaurant. Rooms were comfortable with a hot shower and mosquito nets. Fridge was available, if needed with complimentary water, tea and coffee provided. We ate dinner and breakfast on the balcony of the restaurant to the sound of birdlife. The pumpkin soup was delicious (and home grown), and there was a choice of steak, chicken or a veggie option for dinner. Breakfast had good choices as well - ranging from the full English to a Spanish omelette, which I enjoyed. All though they weren’t that conscious of gluten-free - there were options for me and I did not go hungry. Would like to call out our willing barman and evening waiter Sam who made sure our glasses were never empty and had great wit. You can settle your bill with a card, they prefer tips in cash. They have a good merchandise shop onsite.

The camp was comfortable , clean and affordable . The gardens were lovely and lush , it felt like a seclude location and did not feel to close to the city ,the swimming pool was a bonus . The staff were lovely .

Ambience is 100%,truly enjoyed,you can't get enought of it.However,kindly expound on why payment is solely in dollars and why breakfast is segregated i.e the shared bathroom category means you can get either eggs and toast or pancake and toast with tea.Nothing more.In short, your breakfast is equivalent to accomodation paid for.

Great one night stay. 2 adults+2 teenages. We stayed in 2 cottage rooms. Clean rooms, nice showers and a fridge to keep water cool. Staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived early, before check in to rooms and staff was helpful to arrange visit to Karen blixen museum. The evening buffet is very delicious. Would come back if we ever visit Nairobi again. Yes you can vaguely hear the road, but it is not a bother. Instead listen to the many lovely birds in the area. We han great WiFi both at pool area, restaurant and rooms.

Always choose this accommodation now when visiting Kenya, rather than a hotel. Much more of an authentic African experience. My one & only suggestion - a kettle in the room to enable clients to make a cup of tea!

Wildebeest Eco Camp is super cool! A nice quiet stay. We sleep in a fancy tent "Glamping" in Nairobi! We had a Queen-sized bed and a twin bed for our son. The room was spacious with a hot shower. The hotel restaurant food was excellent. The New Year's Eve dinner was served family style with lots of guests socializing. They even had a playroom with a TV, pool table, and fire pit- (we bought our own marshmallows from NY!! ) We were also able to do a load of laundry. The best part about Wildebeest is enjoying the monkeys visiting your porch. Great staff! A+ stay.
