It is located in a safe area, you can walk calmly, go to the village market. The room was huge. There is a swimming pool. I recommend it as a great quiet place to relax after a long journey.

We were looking for a place close to the Swiss embassy, not to expensive and found Orchid Homes with a lovely garden and a pool. The room was very big (Magnolia). Arrived late (2300) but was not a problem at all. We enjoyed breakfast, Rose did a great job to fulfill all our wishes. We will definitely come back in November. Thank you

This was our first home when we moved to Nairobi. Stayed here for 6 nights until we found a permanent space. They gave us a spacious family room with comfy beds and a TV of course. Staff are lovely and very friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Thanks Susan!

Great location near several embassies and the UN. The room was clean and the pool area is a nice option to relax and hear birds chirping. Wifi was a bit unpredictable during night time. Very pleasant staff. Overall great price value, recommended

The service of Orchid Homes is very bad. The taxi we ordered with Orchid did not arrvive at the airport.The breakfast was hardly eatable. The ambiance of the staff was not very symphatic exept for the doorman. The house is old. The pool is very tiny and not inviting because its not behind the house but in front.Ofcourse by leaving we were supposed to give a tip while the place is already far to expensive for what they offer.

We very much enjoyed the location and the facilities. Maggie was extremely friendly and Susan (online) was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable and included mosquito nets. The bathroom is basic, but clean and correct. The hotel is greatly located in a safe area in Gigiri, where you can safely walk even at night to Village Market.
