Overall it was ok. Pros, good location, the staff are friendly and the room is decent. Cons, the reception is inefficient and check in takes longer than it should. It’s like we are first customer that has ever checked in. Lots of confusion. My ac did not work. I had to call 3 times to reception before someone turned up. They said the ac does not work here. Did not bother to check anything because it seem normal for the ac not to work. I told him it’s very hot in this room and I can’t sleep. Also ac is basic especially if you are calling yourself a 5 star hotel. He shrugged and said I can get you a fan. Got very little sleep and I think they don’t service the ac to save on electricity. It’s a poor attitude from the management especially for a “5 Star” hotel. It’s more like a 3 star. Better places to go for the same price. Will not return.

This review is a little late, but I still have to praise the Nairobi Marriott Hotel! ! ! Because the JW Hotel in Nairobi made me fall in love with this city! ! ! This review is not exaggerated. As a person who stays in a hotel 200 days a year, I still have a little experience in staying in a hotel. First of all, I have traveled to most of Africa and stepped on countless pitfalls. The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! Don't be shy to find him, Jacky is so reliable and professional!!! He has super professional knowledge of hotels, there is no question that can be asked, and he actually knows all the well-known companies and brands in all industries!!! It is common sense that Marriott's hotel training system is well done, but the knowledge capacity of senior management is too terrible!!! If you are interested in the hotel industry, you must find this great god to chat when you have the chance! A rare learning opportunity!!! Without the service awareness of the five-star hotel, I clearly stated that the room set for the second night was higher than the first night, and the money cost hundreds of dollars, not to say that the two rooms are the same. Since the same, why are the two room types and two price points? I won't choose this brand next time, it's too bad.

The hotel is opened by the Chinese, the room is large, the bed is large, and the standard room in Africa has been living for so long. The standard double bed of this hotel is the largest.

Best service ever. Friendly staff and very welcoming. Safe area, clean and very nice breakfast which is made for you as like it personally. The staffs are very nice people. They do everything you would like you'd ask. ASAP! Thanks to all staff working there from the guards to chefs to the receptionist. Especially receptionist Ann and others who are working at night. I will book this hotel every time I'm going to be visiting Nairobi and also the hotel is very safe for your valuable staffs. there's a safe at the room but your other bigger stafs like laptobs are also safe Thanks, Ann and Others that work mostly at night. You guys made my vacation unforgettable.

Anthony, a trainee at the concierge, was super friendly and helpful. Super professionalism made my stay rewarding. The breakfast was very good but the room wifi was very weak and cannot be connected. Location is great and restaurant Kilimanjaro, riverside shuttle station are within walking distance.

The staff at Four Points are Hurlingham are fantastic. They are excellent at customer service - which is what makes my stays memorable. The dedication and care that I receive every time I stay will keep me coming back. Every day as I leave for and return from work, I am greeted by the reception staff, housekeeping staff, security staff and welcomed with a smile by Pablo’s restaurant staff (Faith is exceptionally pleasant). The quality of food is top notch thanks to Chef Howard and his team (including but not limited to Chef Dominic, Beryl, Clarice and Chef Danstand). For my most recent trip, I made a request to have my dietary needs accommodated and everything I asked for was done with such professionalism and kindness that I feel truly cared for. One tip for those who have not been to Nairobi before, be prepared to be requested to comply to the security checks on entry into the hotel. It may seem burdensome however, it is necessary due to the historical context of Kenya. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me for places to stay on business in Nairobi.

The food was delicious and very well presented. The staff and stewards were very friendly. I commend Christine for a very warm welcome and for an ample dining experience. Panari has a great ambience and I would definitely like to come again and again

On the day I arrived - they seemed to have been facing electrical problems for past week. So lifts, doors, and electricity in rooms were not working properly. It appeared to have been resolved on the day I left. I booked because of closeness to airport and train station. They offer complimentary pick up and drop off. They were very nice to offer a late checkout until I left for the airport. Has a big gym, a nice pool and pretty good breakfast. Be aware that there is literally nothing around the hotel - so you can’t really go for a walk or just go grab something to eat.
