Après avoir aimé et arpenté de nombreuses contrées en Asie comme dans plus de 100 pays de ce vaste monde en soixante ans, j’ai vécu en cet endroit la cinquième étape de mon second voyage au Japon trop longtemps reporté cause Covid et bien trop marquant pour ne pas avoir envie d’y retourner… Professionnel du voyage, auteur de guides touristiques basé au Maroc, j’ai découvert ce superbe «Ryokan», ses bains d’eau sulfureuse et chaude à souhait, ses prestations et service, comme son exceptionnel rapport qualité/prix dans un pays dont la réputation est d’être excessivement cher ne font qu’agrémenter ce séjour. Exceptionnel n’est donc pas un vain mot pour décrire cet établissement où l’on va de surprises en surprises en découvrant sa «chambre », ainsi qu’une cuisine délicieuse et finement présentée… Un régal pour les yeux… Un ravissement pour les papilles… Et un nouvel art de vivre en revêtant la tenue de samouraï que l’ensemble des convives portent pour aller dîner… Paix de l’âme et tranquillité de l’esprit sont les maîtres mots de cette demeure dont le passé se conjugue avec le monde d’aujourd’hui dans un environnement d’une exceptionnelle beauté.

There are several recommended shops in front of the lobby. In fact, there was a lot of walking color 々. There is a convenience store nearby, but if you walk a little, there is a local local supermarket called Hymart (cashless), and you can sell colors such as side dishes and sake 々. ◼️ Facility The building was old and the key was not auto lock. The bath and toilet are not large to flatter, but the amenities are complete, and the room is equipped with air conditioner and air purifier. There is no EV because it is low-rise. When I stayed, the paid channel was open for free, and I felt like I got all-you-can-see movies. Also, there was a large amount of manga in the lobby (a little old and the genre may be biased). ◼️ Others It was May, but I feel that there were quite a few mosquitoes in the underground parking area. Recensing a Japanese restaurant or hotel may seem to be meaningless (it is so far away to who will serve), but I hope this and my other reviews can help the tourist who is in these areas. At the bottom, tourists are more or less all going through the same areas and knowing where a good restaurant or a decent hotel can be useful .... is always useful ;-) I am here in Shingu, a choice to visit the Nachi cascades and the temples of the area. The hotel is a slightly trist setting dated in the 1970s, but at least the photos on the sites were real so I knew what we were expecting. In the end I will stay there only two nights and to rest it's more than good. The hotel is located four steps from the station and similarly from the center (we are in Shingu not Tokyo) and reflects how much booked it is. The restaurant is also good if you fail to find one open in the small town.

From furuzagawa station, cross the bridge and go to the mountain side a little along the furuzagawa River. I regretted that I stayed overnight because it was a rumor that the food was very delicious. Still, there were many good places such as the size of the room, amenities such as bathrooms, and cleanliness of the toilet. There is a note in the color 々, there is hospitality and warm atmosphere. The treatment was polite and very good impression. ６ On the weekend of mid-middle, I was disturbed with my wife and parents. The location is just below the Kushimoto City to climb the high ground and overlook the oedo Onsen story. The seaside rooms, the public baths, can see the vast Pacific Ocean and bridge pile rocks. The room used is a family room on the ４ floor. It is a space that was wide 々, but the old-fashioned unit bus and the dirty window make a little mood. And it is a non-smoking room, but it smelled quite a cigarette, so it would be good to check in advance if you are not good. The public bath has a considerable size in the inner bath and the open air, and even if there are a considerable number of people, you will not feel the tightness. Asahi from the open air is a great view. There is also a dry sauna with about ５ people. The meal was a seasonal meeting, but both the quality and quantity were satisfactory. Breakfast is a buffet style of local food. The best thing about this is the staff's customer service. For a westerner this is a bit of an odd place. Its quite easy to list its deficiencies- there is no bar, no place to sit in the Sun and , I’m afraid to say, we did not find the food vey palatable. Elsewhere in Japan we have steered for the small local restaurants with no English menu - we’ve loved the food but not here. The best you can say about breakfast is that you can construct a bacon butty but as for dinner … well we had pot noodles in our room most nights. A question of taste I guess. Why 5 stars then? Firstly the staff are marvelous- went the extra marathon never mind a mile , simply the best. Secondly our Japanese style room high up above the river was fabulous with awesome views of the river and oodles of space. Even loved the futons. The outside onsen is a great place to chill, if that is the word for a hot spring even if you have to wear an item of clothing which is a cross between a kilt and a loin cloth and does little to cover your modesty.
