A smart and somewhat stylish hotel with some very positive features – but with some less so, also. Let's start with the positives: Pool area – quite lovely. A reasonable sized pool, surrounded by loungers, couches, sun beds and chairs of various varieties. It has a pool bar and a towel service, and most rooms look out on the pool area. Very pleasant. Room quality – there are different buildings in the complex all with a stylish rustic design, and each room comes with a verandah, balcony or sun lounge. Also has a fridge and TV and a same day laundry service. Our room was smallish, and the industrial sized bath probably takes up too much room (you can't get out on one side of a double bed). It had an open plan see through shower, which was kind of cute though some people might find it a bit strange. Also, the security safe seemed to need a key which wasn't there. Possibly available from reception, but what's wrong with a standard digital safe? Overall quality – quite good. Wifi – good quality. They also provide a smartphone, which looked very cool – but turned out it wasn't working. Staff – very friendly and helpful, particularly at reception. Location - a reasonable walk (downhill) to the town area and there is also a bus stop outside. Coming back at night is a different proposition, however, as the downhill stroll reverts into a steep upward climb on a very dark and narrow road. And then there is the sheer rapacity of Mykonos taxi drivers (a separate story). Now on to the less positive: Breakfast – very disappointing. Words like dull, uninteresting and boring come to mind – but let's say Basic with a capital B. Cold plates had little variety and the ‘hot’ dishes were lukewarm and stodgy – and not to mention having to drink fruit juice from a warm cup because there were no glasses available. You even had to pay extra for decent coffee. It was budget hotel fare at best. Curiously, I was surprised to see a comment from the management on this forum that they seemed actually proud of their breakfast offering!! All I would say to that is that they need to get out more. Bar prices - it's been a few years since I was in Mykonos, and I was astonished at how expensive everything has become – including bar prices. Still, the prices for drinks at the pool bar were very much on the high side, and would not encourage you to spend much time there. Apart from the latter two gripes, we enjoyed our stay at the Three Shades. Overall star ratings? About 3.5 – but certainly not 4. Value for money? Given that Mykonos prices are hitting stratospheric levels, probably not bad.

Exceptional, beautiful, faultless! We were absolutely blown away by the high standard of service, cleanliness and attention to detail of this stunning hotel. We stayed for 7 nights, bed and breakfast. Arrival: Upon arrival, we were greeted with a watermelon mocktail, a steamed hot cloth and small hand sanitiser bottle. Friendly staff gave us a map of the town and useful information about taxis and restaurants etc. before escorting us to our room; helping to carry our luggage. Room: The room was spotless, gorgeous decor of crisp white sheets with pops of colour in the rug and artwork. Posh coffee machine. Complimentary bottle of local wine and snacks. Luxury toiletries in the bathroom (which were regularly topped up/ replaced). Arrived at night time but waking up to fully take in our surroundings and sea view in the sunshine was amazing (which by the way, was a free upgrade from a garden room). The cleaning staff were brilliant, always friendly and replaced any towels when left on the floor. Facilities: Again, spotlessly clean walkways and communal areas. Contemporary reception/ lobby area with many comfy seating areas. The pool area was gorgeous, fresh towel station for whenever yours got too soggy. Super comfortable sun beds with thick double beds over the edge of the pool. Staff regularly walk around to ask if you’d like a drink or food. Chilled house music in the background. If you bought spirits, you’d get complimentary nuts and crisps too. Breakfast: 5* is an understatement. I’ve previously stayed in 5* Riu hotels and Kyma knocks them out the park. As it’s much smaller than massive Riu hotels, the attention to detail and service is amazing. The options were amazing including vegetarian and vegan options. The yoghurt and granola station was the best I’ve experienced out of about six 5* Greek hotels I’ve been to before. Fresh coffee and juice straight to your table as well as Prosecco daily!!! We thought it might have been for special guests or someone with a birthday, nope. All guests. Every morning! We would take our glass of Prosecco after breakfast to the shaded lounge area with sofas by the pool to relax. Other: All staff were so helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful back massage one afternoon and we shared a couple’s experience of the spa dipping in all 5 pools with different temperatures and oils. They even took us to the spa in a golf buggy to save us walking uphill. Worth every penny and will 100% return in future!

We loved this place! When we entered the hotel, we were warmly greeted by Zisis and made us feel immediately at home. All of the staff at this hotel were wonderful. Our room was spotless. The layout of our room, and the hotel in general, was great and boutique, quiet, and provided a great sunset. This is probably the first hotel I've stayed where we walked to the airport! However, we experienced no aircraft noise whatsoever and the room was super quiet. We walked in and out of town; not a problem, but you do need to take a little care. And this was our last stop on our trip; the recommendation for our restaurant was really appreciated. We had a lovely last dinner prior to flying out. Much thanks. We highly recommend this hotel. Thanks!

The hotel will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms with a desk, an electric tea pot, a fridge, a minibar, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a terrace and a private bathroom with a shower. At Adama Mykonos Boutique Hotel all rooms include bed linen and towels. We did not have a mini bar, safe??? Upon arrival we were told that our room was upgraded, I am wondering what upgrade? it was a simple room nothing to upgrade in our opinion. We received an email a coupe day before our stay and it stated that a shuttle was provided, it was not. We asked for more information, and we were told it is not available for those who do not book directly with the Hotel. We are ok with that, but the front desk told us that the Manager will pay for the shuttle back to the airport out of her own pocket, it felt like we were a charity case. It's not the cost it's the fact that we received an email. The staff serving our breakfast and the one dinner we had was awful. The chairs at the pool were stained and disgusting. It was such a disappointment. wee love Mykonos but this hotel and the experience there was awful.

Where do I start... we booked this hotel as a last minute couples get away and what an amazing time from start to finish. We were a little sceptical as there were only 10 reviews (even though they were all good), however it was a brand new hotel just opened in August 2020. When we arrived the accommodation was just what we expected and more from the pictures shown. Very modern and private room/spacious terrace with your own private pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t have done anymore to make our stay more enjoyable. 24 hour reception with staff always willing to help. Breakfast was given at your time choice, by simply just calling them with the mobile phone they provided and would be there within a few minutes. The rooms are kept very clean throughout the entire stay, with new bedding, towels, coffee, toiletries etc. We were even given a little key ring and Mykonian sweets when we checked out. The hotel followed all Covid guidelines to ensure the safety of everyone. Thank you VERY much for making our amazing stay! Couldn’t recommend this place anymore!

A lovely hotel with amazing staff who can't do enough for you. The pool is small but perfect for the size of hotel; the breakfast was delicious and the staff remember how you like your coffee each morning. The rooms are great - clean and comfy. We had a small bathroom - but still no complaints from this happy family who had the most relaxing holiday ever. The reception team are happy to book trips, restaurants and cabs for you. They even got housekeeping to wash my daughter's dress when it got a cocktail spilt on it (entirely my fault). The hotel is a 15 minute walk into Mykonos Town - with a cab ride back costing 15 euros. Also super close to the airport. A five minute cab ride - but surprisingly quiet and very little noise from planes landing and taking off. Would definitely return! Thank you to Yannis and the team.

We made a reservation for four days, and when we arrived they gave us a zulo room which they say that all their rooms are deluxe… we didn't complain and they took us down to the room that was just below the pool and when we entered the smell was pipes and ****, I told the reception and he told me that he already knew and I told him to change me, he told me that there wasn't even room and then one next door that smelled the same…. The owner came very arrogantly saying that it wasn't her fault that I was a liar and that it smelled, it's from the city that she wasn't to blame and that's what we had after fighting, she gave me the money and at the reception I told her what a coincidence it didn't smell up to what she told me I'm not going to argue anymore you're leaving!!! In conclusion, do not go to this hotel as it is not like in the photos and the sound of the planes is impossible
