3-Star Hotels in Munich

Not much to expect out of this hotel except for the location. The Italian lady who checked us in was very nice. Can’t say the same for the Turkish guy who refused to let us have the vacant room because it was before 3 pm.

Nice stay. Good access with car and good connection to the city center. U-bahn is next to the hotel. Rooms are good. Bunk beds could have higher guardrails. Breakfast is good and you have a lot to choose from. Juice glasses could be bigger (now only 1 dcl). Parking is a bit expensive (18€/day).

It's two years ago this weekend that I stayed in this hotel. I meant to post a review at the time (but I forgot!). Anyway, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Munich. Rates were incredibly good value (when I visited). Room was large, spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The immediate surrounding area isn't exactly pretty. Think functional. But it's very safe and there is a large supermarket next door. As long as you do your research and realise that it's not a city centre location it's a great choice. Public transport in Munich is excellent. There is a tram stop/terminus next to the hotel and a bus stop also (which will bring you to an underground station in a couple of minutes). It takes no longer than about 20/25 minutes to get into the city (with transfers). It's also easy to get to by public transport from the airport (if you plan).

Good hotel. Lovely staff, loyal to understanding, service at the highest level. The hotel itself is located in the center, which already speaks of the convenience of visiting. The hotel was cozing and had good accomodations. Although not too modern, the room was equipped with everything we needed and had great acoustics. Parking in the surroundings was not very easy depending on the moment of the day. Breakfast was nice, with variety of food and typically German food included. The staff was nice but not very welcoming. The neighborhood was not very near to the city center, but that worked out really good for us, since we got to experience the local life.

The first floor is too hot, the second floor is good, the breakfast is awesome, the first floor is booked, the fat guy at the front desk is very patient to help change the room and want to tip when checking out, but he rests, the hotel is recommended!

This was a beautiful hotel, and felt much more luxurious than I was expecting for the price. The room was a good size, with interesting decoration. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I got the breakfast, which had a good variety. It's located near where the Octoberfest is held, about a 15 minute walk from the train station. You can easily take a streetcar from here to the old town. I also recommend the Augustiner Bräustuben beer hall nearby. Would stay here again gladly.

Good location, very close to the Marienplatz. The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is 9.8 Euro/person for the outside staff and 8 Euro/person for the guest, and sometimes a breakfast coupon is given. The downside is that the elevator is parked in the middle of the two floors, and the luggage needs to move up half a floor. The car park is a paid car park a few hundred meters away. The two-person room cannot accommodate an extra bed, but you can play the ground floor yourself.

Everything was excellent. Few steps from S-bahn and U-bahn stations, 1 minute :) 4 stops to Marienplatz (city centre) with u-bahn. 4 stops to central train station with s-bahn. Only 15 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. You can find Mediterranean breakfast; olive, tomatoes, lettuce, fried eggs. There are many more alternatives. Because of its location and excellent breakfast, I would stay there if I go to Munich again. But there isn’t mini bar. I prefer cold water even if it’s snowing.

Super friendly people there - a great, clean room (very pleasant atmosphere). Slept peacefully, received nice advice from the friendly staff and was completely uncomplicated in the process. At a sensational price: it couldn't be better :)
