Adagio Munich Hotel Review:
**Pros:**
1. **Excellent Location:** Very close to the Central Station.
2. **Convenient Airport Access:** Easily accessible from the airport via the S8/S9 S-Bahn to München Hauptbahnhof (approx. 40-minute journey). From the station, exit towards the passage by Platform 13, walk two blocks, then turn right and go straight to reach the hotel, which is less than a 6-minute walk from the station.
3. **Fully Equipped Aparthotel:** As an aparthotel, the room is equipped with an induction hob, electric kettle, cutlery, cooking utensils, and a refrigerator, making it very convenient for in-room cooking.
4. **Nearby Amenities:** There's a large supermarket close to the hotel.
5. **Thoughtful Lobby Offerings:** The lobby provides complimentary coffee with various options, including tea bags, which was a nice touch.
6. **In-Room Essentials:** A hairdryer, safe, ironing board, and iron are also provided.
**Cons:**
1. **Inconsistent Hot Water:** The hot water in the bathroom was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, making it difficult to regulate.
2. **Slippery Bathroom Floor:** Furthermore, the bathroom floor became quite slippery after showering, posing a fall risk.
3. **Dim Room Lighting:** The room lighting was not bright enough.
4. **Bustling Station Area:** The area around the station can be quite bustling and diverse. Fortunately, as it was May, the long daylight hours meant the walk back to the hotel felt safe and well-lit, so it wasn't a major concern.
5. **Lack of Cleaning Tools for Extended Stays:** While no daily cleaning service is provided, which is common for an aparthotel, there were no basic cleaning tools available in the room. After several days, with some food crumbs accumulating, I would have appreciated having supplies to tidy up myself. This is an aspect the hotel could improve.
Room is excellent. Very spacious room for 3 of us. Bathroom had shower/shampoo/conditioner/hand soap and hand lotion. There were also complimentary drinks provided in our room''s mini bar. Breakfast was awesome, wide varieties and was very fresh. Definitely to book again when back in Munich.
The hotel is located right next to Munich train station, which made arriving by train incredibly convenient. It's also a short walk from the old town center, making dining and sightseeing very accessible. The area around the train station can be quite busy and a bit chaotic, but once inside the hotel, it was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Our room was spacious and well-designed, with plenty of counter space to easily unpack and organize our luggage. The breakfast buffet was also plentiful and delicious. We had an early check-out before breakfast hours, but they kindly offered a packed breakfast for us to take on the go, which was a really thoughtful gesture. 👍

Hotel service was excellent ..location is superb 2 mins walking distance from Munchen HBF. 5 mins waking distance from Hotel for City sightseeing Hop on Hop bus terminal. We had a great 2nights stay @Maritim Munich. Breakfast was very good for Nonvegetarian people. But there is no option for Vegetarian people. Request you to include options for them also.
Good locations 2 blocks away from Munich train station and near old town. Neighbourhood is a bit shady at night, with loud people hanging around. Facilities showing age and elevator was slow and sensor not receptive but relatively well maintained considering age of property. Staff is generally helpful.
A warm and cosy hotel which is located near the Munich central station. The staff(Daniel and a young lady) were helpful and nice. I love particularly the common room which is a relaxing area for a morning coffee. My room is spacious and also comes with a small but well furnished kitchen. I would recommend this hotel to all those who are planning to visit Munich.
A very good location with tip top front service staff to assist us on our trip and guide us to the local metro station and tram. We have a very smooth and welcome stay in the hotel. Near to city and attraction.
A nice hotel, but the two bedroom is not really a two bedroom. It's more like a one bedroom plus the living area converted into the second sleeping area.
I find the ”two bedroom” room type too squeezy for 4 pax. We cannot even eat together on the same table, no table space and not enough chairs.
Also, although there is a lift, our floor is not at the lift landing, it's in-between the lift landing, so for those carrying big luggage, it was tedious, not recommended.
Otherwise, the room facilities are good, the location is great.
They also allow us to leave our luggage there while waiting for check-in, so that is nice too.
A really lovely hotel, the rooms decor was great, the colors, set up and furniture all matched well with each other and was a visual feast for the senses.
Very convenient as the hotel was just a few mins walk away from Theresienwiese station.
Only downside is they don't have toothbrushes and slippers but just bring your own and you'll be fine. Laundry is free too, and they have a small gym for you to get workouts in.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and I love how they have their own social events such as a drinks party and movie screenings.
I will definitely stay in this hotel again!!
Good layout and room is quite spacious. I was on a business trip, the location was convenient for me to travel around the town

GGuest UserPlus - The hotel's successful location near the station and main attractions. Clean, comfortable beds, good room equipment, emulsion is the role of the stand, sleep in full dark great pleasure. Mini bar free, beer, water, juice. Welcome staff, good breakfast.
Of the downsides, it's a tram under the windows who is sensitive to sound, noise can interfere. I didn't hear the tram when the window closed. No slippers.
I definitely recommend this hotel.
EEmily YuenThe hotel is conveniently located near the train and subway stations. There are plenty of eateries, supermarkets (rewe, Lidl)and drugstore (dm, rossmann) nearby. Hotel reception staff are also very extremely helpful and nice. Although the room is very spacious, there are a couple of issues. The light in the room is not enough. The sleeping area and writing desk are too dark. The table lamp is not functioning well. One of the bed lights is out of order. Besides, there is serious musty smell in the bathroom, which make me doubt the hygiene.
AAudrey_LLocation is very close to Munich Hbf,just across the road. Shared kitchen was well equipped. Our room has ensuite toilet.. But was quite small. You will need to put on the bed sheet, pillow case, etc your side, and at the end of trip, u will need to bring everything down to the laundry cart. They have happy hour at the bar.. Music play thru out the night till 2plus am. Extended check out time after 10am will be extra euro per pax which I think is very reasonable. Cleaner came into room at around 10am, everyday. There was once we will still in our room, we got a shock, as she did not knock the door, just open with her access card. Only then we realised she came everyday. Overall quite nice. If u are looking for budget accommodation, can consider. Btw, we are a group of 4 gers, having the room to ourself, so no experience about mixed sharing dorm.
JJxsmineThe hotel was easy to find, staff was friendly during check-in. There was construction going on so at times noises couldn't be avoided. The room space is spacious for two was everything available for use. The bed was comfortable and we had a good rest. Will return :)
WWenshuangyuThe room was very comfortable, the mattress and pillows were very soft, the front desk staff was very welcoming, and the bar counter provided hot water. The location was very convenient, there was a subway station right outside, and three stops to Maria Square, there was a large supermarket nearby, and there was a large garden where you could have breakfast, drink tea and rest.
SSusie123This area is a hotel area, there are more people in the Middle East, and I always feel that it is not safe. The hotel is just a crossroads. There is a motorcycle sound blowing the street at night! It is noisy to close the window, and the room inside may be better! The room is still relatively new, but there is a bottle of free water, breakfast is OK, typical Western breakfast, fried eggs and coffee need to be ordered! The traffic is very convenient, there are many attractions and cathedrals nearby, and the new city hall is also there.
AAozhouThe door of the hotel is small and the path is very deep, but fortunately the signboard is very obvious and easy to find. It is not far from the central train station. It can be walked for ten minutes. The key is that the price is very high, the surrounding is very quiet and safe, the sanitation is also very good, and the facilities and equipment are also very complete. The elevator is super small, but the operation is still stable, so that you don't climb the stairs. The room is spacious and clean. .
The hotel is small, but the buffet breakfast is provided, the variety is not much, but the taste is quite good, and there is no problem with eating.
It is a five or six-minute walk from the subway entrance and there are different subway exits in different directions. Munich's traffic is very developed and it is very convenient to go anywhere.
The two days I went there were just weekends, and all supermarket shopping malls were basically closed. Fortunately, not far from the Central Railway Station, the supermarket shops in the Central Railway Station are open. There is a Vietnamese food stall in Zhong'an Railway Station, the price is cheap, the key is that the taste is very suitable for Chinese.
It is highly recommended to go to Ningfenbao Palace, this is the place where Princess Sisi has lived since childhood, very beautiful. The Olympic Park is very lively and there are many snacks to play. The English garden is large, the scenery is beautiful, and the large lawn is free to take pictures. The city hall is very lively and crowded, shopping and eating and taking pictures is enough for you to play all day. Both universities are world-renowned universities, you can go shopping.
ややすぽんIt was good that it was close to the central station. I was worried about the security, but I don't think I needed to worry too much. The room was not large, but stylish, and the facilities such as Nespresso capsule coffee were good.
BbowlingkenThe hotel is a bit of a walk from the station. The room was on the smaller side, and the amenities were quite basic. It didn't quite meet the standard of typical budget chain hotels I'm used to. Given the significantly increased price, the value for money felt only average. On the upside, there are stores like dm, Aldi, and Edeka nearby.
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the main train station. There's a Lidl supermarket right next door and plenty of Turkish restaurants nearby.
