Great stay in Munich. The staff is friendly and the location is in Central Area. we went there for Fruhling Festival and the hotel is within walking distance. Really convenient to us.

This hotel was perfect for our weekend. Our room was a decent size, with a walk in shower, the room overlooked the courtyard so it was very quiet. Breakfast was good and set you up for a day of exploring wonderful Munich. At night time there is the friendly bar to use for a night cap. The location was great, a short walk from the station and not far to walk for all of the attractions. I would happily stay here again, and the staff were also very friendly.

This hotel was booked as part of a BA city break of 6 nights duration. All in all, excellent value for money. Well located, the hotel is about 15-20 minute walk to Marienplatz and 10 minutes from Hauptbahnhof. (We are both 79 so may be quicker for you) Our bedroom on the third floor looked out over the busy main road at the front of the hotel but with excellent sound proofing - with the windows closed, silence! Very large, comfortable bed with individual duvets. Fridge and safe and most important of all, a great shower. Breakfast is served from 6.30 to 10.00 and later at the weekend but if you go down 7.45-8.30, be prepared to wait for a table or have your meal in either the bar area or the garden- weather permitting. The staff are incredibly efficient and we never waited more than 5 minutes. Breakfast is Continental plus, with bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, fried potatoes and unusually, but very good Mediterranean style veg. All this in addition to all the cold stuff, too numerous to mention. Hotel apart, we also had a great week visiting all the local places of interest. One final recommendation, good value Thai/Asian meals at the Asiagourmet in the main concourse of the Hauptbahnhof.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. On the 6th floor. did not hear a sound from anywhere in the hotel, not outside. And it was quite full. with that, never a problem getting a table at breakfast, which by the way had every thing you would expect to see at a Bavarian restaurant. All common areas of the hotel were clean, and someone was always walking around checking on things. We also had a late nights dinner at the restaurant the the strudel was excellent. The staff were always asking if we needed anything, and when it came to getting directions and navigating the tram system they would go out of their way to assist. Our tour company offered us many options, some cheaper, some not, but all mostly up on the main street by the station. We are glad we did not select any of those do to the crowds and street noise. As noted by many others it is a 10-15 minute walk from central station. with our luggage it was closer to 15, but, there was snow on the ground. all other days we only planned on 10 to the station. The central station was out starting point for all our days excursions. whether it was a bus, Db, or tram. very helpful, get one of the MVV apps on your phone. very much needed. Finally the staff. from the front desk, the room staff, restaurant, bar. etc etc. Everyone had a smile and greeted you. Which, put all the quests in a great mood as well. If we ever go back to Munich, there is no question as to where we stay. Well done

This is our first visit to Europe and Germany and as one could expect, we have had a few areas we had to adjust to. The hotel itself is centrally located, but due to some health issues, we used Uber quite a bit, though we also walked quite a bit. We were disappointed that we had a room reserved for three nights with AC, but we were told our room did not have AC. We upgraded for $20 euro per night, do a superior room. The AC worked fine, though we found the rooms were rather snug. Comfy bed, lackluster pillows, only BBC in English, everything else in German. Would be nice to either stream or have English closed captions. The rooms are clean and housekeeping is very efficient and motivated. Be careful if you call for service because as soon as you open the door, they are walking through the door! The Wifi is totally challenging, works one minute, doesn’t work the next minute. Very frustrating, especially since so much of the City communicates via the internet. The restaurant is nice and convenient, though a bit pricy at $19 for breakfast. The front desk staff have been especially team leader Lorenzo, Sarah and Ijun(SP). All were extremely nice and helped Gul to us when we struggled with the language and navigating this wonderful city.

Excellent hotel & good location as it's near the train station. Great breakfast buffet & restaurant. Gym & sauna are very nice. However! Many near-by storefronts are vacant & streets are a bit rough-take a cab back at night. Hopefully the area will be soon revitalized.
