"This hotel is located just outside the city center, right next to a metro station, and directly across from Olympic Park. It's only one metro stop away from the BMW Museum. The breakfast is quite good, with a wide variety of options. The room bedding is clean and high quality. The toilet and shower are separate. Our room faced Olympic Park, and we could see the TV tower. I recommend requesting a higher floor for better views. The hotel service is also good, and there's a large underground parking garage. It's convenient to take the metro to the old town. The only downside is that the supermarkets are a bit far, about 700 meters away."
"I stayed for a day during my layover in Munich. The transportation was quite convenient; both S1 and S8 lines from the airport go there, and it's only two stops to Marienplatz. You can spot the hotel right after getting off the train, just across a bridge, and there's a small lane that leads directly to it—very close. The hotel room was spacious, and breakfast was just okay. The most unique part was probably making your own waffles, but you had to queue if it was busy."
"Great hotel! Spacious, conveniently located in front of the tram stop and only a few stops away from the central station. There’s an Edeka (supermarket) within 10 minutes walk which makes it very suitable for long stay. Also, there’s a self-operated laundry at the basement for those who need to wash their clothes after a week long travel. I would definitely return and stay again."
"<Location> 10 minutes walk from the central railway station, 20 minutes walk from tourist attractions, 5 minutes from the Lidl mart (You need no taxi or bus fare if you stay for a short period) <Facility> In addition to bedrooms and toilets, facilities and spaces sufficient to cook and eat food. <Surroundings> Near the central railway station, but a safe and quiet area <Service> Careful consideration and effort <Other> 1. Free coffee and milk cocoa at reception 2. Sufficient laundry machines."
"The staff are generally very nice (: we were allowed to check in early since the room was cleaned by the time we arrived. The rooms are also incredibly clean. I tried to search for dust (since I have bad allergies) but didn't encounter any. Only thing is that there could be more hooks / places to hang things in the toilet, and maybe 2-4 more hangers 🤣 (I travelled with a female friend, so you can imagine the amount of clothes we had to hang up.) There's also only one plug between the beds, so that's a little troublesome since we didn't exactly have a multi plug.
The hotel is pretty near Machtlfinger Straße, very accessible and there's a grocery just down the road as well."
"Apartment-style hotel, the room also has kitchen, kitchenware and tableware, there is a public lounge, laundry room, etc., the decoration style is simple, suitable for long-term living.
The location is far from the city center, take the subway to the end + walk for more than ten minutes."
"Such a lovely place to stay! Highly recommended for travelers. It’s walkable from Munich Central Station, which makes it very convenient. The only drawback is that the locality may not be ideal for families with kids. On the bright side, you can even find nice souvenirs at the nearby supermarket."
"Location: The hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a 10-minute walk from Munich Central Station. With easy subway access, getting around the city was incredibly convenient.
Environment: However, the immediate area around the train station felt a bit gritty, chaotic, and somewhat run-down. There were groups of questionable individuals lingering, which made walking alone feel quite uneasy and vulnerable – it was honestly a bit concerning.
Facilities: As a budget-friendly hotel, the design is quite basic, and everything is simple. A significant issue was that the bathroom light in my bathroom was completely out. Despite reporting it to the front desk, it was never repaired (or perhaps couldn't be fixed). I was definitely glad I only stayed for two nights."
"Hotel is very clean and spacious. Outside environment is not as good as the new town area, but is quite convenient to Munich Centre station. The service is nice and staffs are very friendly, good 👍"
"The room has a microwave, kettle, refrigerator, dishwasher, iron, hair dryer, TV. The space is large, very clean, no smell, and the decoration is very new. There are washing machines and dryers on the first floor. There is dm in 10 minutes walk next to it, and the hotel is in a residential area. The parking lot charges 16 euros a night, and the feeling of security is full."

LLozzzzWonderful apartment style hotel, amenities great including lounge & workspace, bar, luxury restaurant (bit out of our price range but looked nice), gym, classes, pool and sauna (photo below). Apartment was clean and spacious, and terrace was lovely, although a bit cold and snowy in November. Buffet is €25pp breakfast which was a bit poor for what we paid, there wasn’t much left and it wasn’t refilled. All locally sourced products though. Hotel is very close to Aidenbachstraße bus station and underground station so super easy to travel into the city, about 10-20 minutes.
KKCcccccccccThe location is excellent as it is just next to the Main train station ( but the areas around the station are quite shabby).
The high-floor room I was given was spotless with a good view overlooking the city ( in front of the station ).
The staff were friendly and the breakfast had a wide selection of food.
I first came here more than 10 years ago and I still found the lobby and the room look renovated and modern.
I will stay here again if I go to Munchen in the future.

GGuest UserI am very satisfied with the facilities, room size and service here. It is very close to the station, and the station is not far from the city center, just a few minutes' walk. The two front desk staff are very enthusiastic. When I checked in, they took me to the floor where I was staying and introduced the breakfast place. My charging cable was broken, and they helped me find a charging cable to lend me. I will recommend this hotel next time or if my friends come over.
AAKADAI stayed here on New Year's Eve.
I had heard that the New Year's fireworks in Munich never stopped, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sleep, but the room was very quiet and airtight, so I was able to sleep peacefully.
It's a very unique and interesting hotel, but it was disappointing that the bed was expensive and difficult to use, and that there were no slippers or bathrobes. Other than that, I think it was good.

AAToiI recently stayed at Flemings Hotel for three nights and found its location to be exceptional. Just a 5-minute walk from München Hauptbahnhof (central station), the hotel is also very close to Marienplatz and easily walkable to the renowned art museums, making it perfect for travelers wanting to explore Munich on foot.
The room was noticeably clean, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping. However, one unusual design feature stood out - the fully glass toilet area. While visually modern, this design choice completely lacks privacy, which felt awkward and uncomfortable. It's something potential guests should be aware of before booking.
The hotel's Italian restaurant was a consistent highlight of my stay. I dined there every evening, and the dinner service was exceptional. The service staff during dinner were particularly outstanding - attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was consistently good, making my evening meals a real pleasure.
Unfortunately, my last day brought a stark contrast. I decided to try the hotel's breakfast, and the experience was disappointing. The service staff at breakfast was noticeably different - the approach felt rude and impersonal. The way payment and room number were requested came across as condescending, which was a significant departure from the warmth I'd experienced during dinner. The breakfast itself was underwhelming, with little to recommend.
To sum up, the hotel offers a great location and excellent dinner service, but comes with some notable inconsistencies. The glass toilet design might be a deal-breaker for those seeking privacy, and the breakfast service needs improvement. For travelers who prioritize location and don't mind an unconventional bathroom layout, this hotel could still be a solid choice.

AAnonymous UserLet me be frank.
It's close to Munich's Hbf, with restaurants and a pharmacy nearby, which is convenient. The bed was large, but the pillows were a bit firm. We booked a business twin room, which had a spacious living area between the room and the bathroom. The slippers were comfortable, and the front desk was very helpful.
However, the housekeeping staff was clearly neglectful. On our first day, there were no slippers in the room, they forgot to turn on the kettle, and the shower gel was almost gone. We didn't ask for a housekeeping service on our second day, and they did on our third day, but they only changed one person's towel and forgot to refill the shower gel and shampoo.
The surroundings and the traffic were complex. As we approached the small street leading to the hotel, we could clearly see the crowds. On our travels, we often stayed near train stations in various overseas cities. While there was a lot of traffic, it seemed like everyone was going about their daily routines. The street where the Three Lions Hostel is located is noticeably more complex (there are always idle people standing on both sides), and some of the signs on the shops suggest it might be a complex place. I felt a little strange every time I passed by. Ctrip didn't mention this at all, which is a bit wrong. If you are a single woman or a family with young children, I don't recommend staying there.

AAsh76OK - the good -
The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.
it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.
The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.
And the not so good -
The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!
When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.
It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.
And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!
And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.
Even if they change it, it resets the next day.
I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.
As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.
Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.
Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.
The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.
If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby.
GGuest UserFor the price the place was good but don’t expect too much. You have to pay for a lock which was annoying but also the price was 1€ a day for it. The bathroom though was kinda gross, people would leave a soaking wet bath mat on the floor and it just wasn’t pleasant. But that’s not in the hostel. The major thing was it was loud, I could hear people every night screaming in the hall and it had zero sound isolation.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit small, but the price is cheap and the breakfast was really delicious. The staff were all friendly and there was an elevator, so it was easy to move my luggage. The reception is on the 2nd floor, so please keep that in mind.
