A truly superb hotel. The hotel combines the traditional/ history of the region with the modern, luxury features that travellers want. Service and attentiveness of staff is outstanding. They are constantly on hand to provide for you and make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mumbai.

Great historical hotel, very good location; clean and a nice room, the issue was, their services seems very random, some staff were very polite but some were “meh..” for a hotel as calibre as this, we expect more tho..

The hotel staff are very welcoming, and when they check-in, they will send sour plum soup, and they will always say hello every day. Compared with local service levels, it has become very international. Breakfast is also very good, especially compared to the local situation, it is really international. The location is also very good, walking distance to popular attractions such as the India Gate and Museum. It’s a good shopping spot everywhere, there’s a shopping street and a hand-made keychain (see video). However, many people's attractions and shopping spots are easy to eat tofu by Indians, so be very careful!

I chose it because the ferry stop on the World Heritage Island of Elefanta was close and I wanted to take a night view of the India Gate (under renovation) and the Taj Mahal Hotel. I could see the sea from the window, but it's a pity that there are few seagulls in the morning 々 noisy and there is no hair dryer. But breakfast while listening to BGM on the outdoor terrace is the best!

My stay at Backpackers was great. It was in a perfect location for reaching sights easily. There is great shopping, restaurants and the Gateway within steps. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I booked a private room and was very happy with the accommodation. It had a private bathroom. A/C and Wi-Fi both worked well. Will stay here again.

This hotel has a perfect location for Wankhede matches, spotless rooms, courteous staff, and delicious food. It offers a comfortable stay with great amenities and prompt service. Highly recommended!

I will start this by saying this hotel is amazing and I think anyone visiting Mumbai should stay here. I’m a backpacker from USA & took me a while to find a good hotel in Mumbai, since it was my first time visiting this amazing city. Every hotel had bad reviews or highly expensive. So I decided to pick this one and hired a taxi service, (which you could do on this website.) The hotel is a drive down south from the airport in Colaba. The location is perfect. It’s down the street from the famous Taj Mahal hotel so how could it get any better. A short walk from all the touristy spots. It’s perfect. The hotel felt very safe. There’s security that watches over you and the rooms are on the second floor. There’s a front desk and everyone there is kind and helpful. The room is very clean, no bugs, no dust, good ac, little candies and a perfect shower. Perfect pressure, perfect hot water. They have tea, coffee and unlimited water bottles. The breakfast is the best part. Don’t skip out on it! They have a lot of options from Indian to western & everything is made with care and love. The breakfast might be the best part :) idk who the chef is but he/she did a wonderful job. Okay, so no more searching and stressing! Book this hotel, it’s a winner!
