Le manager Kuma (Kumara) et son équipe: Lahiru Cook, Mithila, Sithara se sont occupés de Véronique et moi (Christian) durant 2 semaines. Ils se sont occupés de nous de façon remarquable. Toujours souriants et au petits soins pour nous. La cuisine y est très agréable grâce à Lahiru qui nous a préparé d'excellents pancake le matin ainsi que de très bonnes omelettes. Nous y avons soupé très souvent et c'était aussi très bien. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, fonctionnelles et jolies. L'endroit en lui même est super agréable. Un grand merci à la team de l'Anura's Éléphant ainsi qu'à la patronne Pamoda qui est très gentille. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans un splendide endroit... Merci beaucoup... It's a very nice place, beautiful sea, all the services are good, very good food, perfect and clean room, I can promise to have a good time, for me it is a go to Sri Lanka A place to stop in the South. They also have a full bar and a nice pool

The experience was very bad. I booked the hotel early, but when I arrived at the local hotel, I was told that there was no reservation information. A large group of people were waiting at the front desk. It was very bad. The entire communication was back and forth between three parties. What’s even more outrageous is that one of the bookings has no room. I never thought that a platform as big as Ctrip would make this mistake. Beruwala is hot this season and mosquitoes bite in the evening. The final solution is also terrible. I have never dared to do so again. Booked an overseas hotel on Ctrip.

Unfortunately underwhelming... We booked a room with 2 double beds (alternatively 2 single bed) for a higher price because that's what we wanted - when we checked in, we were given a room with 1 double bed. Unfortunately the bed couldn't be spitted and no other room was available (which we highly doubted, as we were one of the early one's checking in that day). We received a very soft co-sleeper bed... The first night, we went to bed quite early as we were exhausted from the day. Suddenly, there was banging on the door - up to 10 times - before I was awake enough to open the door to 2 service guys from the hotel, giving me some cut fruits and 4 pralines - at 10:30pm!? I was totally confused by the time and behaviour... Also the personnel wasn't of great help when asked regarding directions, post office, or else... We just didn't like the experience we had in this hotel.

This is more a resort then a normal hotel. with good facilities . Even though it is more then 20 years old it is still o'kay and is currently being updated and renovated. Back when it first opened ,it was probably the best resort in all of Sri Lanka!! Quiet location ,a bit out of town ,but easy to get a Tuk Tuk to get around. it is about 2 hours by bus from Colombo ,or probably quicker by train ........ but not as much fun! Staff where freindly and helpful if needed.
