This is more a resort then a normal hotel. with good facilities .
Even though it is more then 20 years old it is still o'kay and is currently being updated and renovated.
Back when it first opened ,it was probably the best resort in all of Sri Lanka!!
Quiet location ,a bit out of town ,but easy to get a Tuk Tuk to get around.
it is about 2 hours by bus from Colombo ,or probably quicker by train ........ but not as much fun!
Staff where freindly and helpful if needed.

The experience was very bad. I booked the hotel early, but when I arrived at the local hotel, I was told that there was no reservation information. A large group of people were waiting at the front desk. It was very bad. The entire communication was back and forth between three parties. What’s even more outrageous is that one of the bookings has no room. I never thought that a platform as big as Ctrip would make this mistake. Beruwala is hot this season and mosquitoes bite in the evening. The final solution is also terrible. I have never dared to do so again. Booked an overseas hotel on Ctrip.

We got out of the private taxi the staff at the hotel took our cases into the reception told us to sit down and gave us a cold fruit juice lovely Our driver booked us in we did nothing We was only there for two nights half board the room was very spacious well equipped House keeping every day very clean room and Hotel The outdoor swimming pool was lovely and warm also provided with very large pool towel’s everyday I would love to go back at some time We both would like to thank the staff for a remarkable hospitality Thank you Kevin and Beverly Campbell 11/4/24 to 13/4/24

This hotel is nice. Food also really tasty. Front office staff help a lot for us. We stayed 10 days for vacation with my family. We spend beautiful vacation here. Beach is very nearby. Ms thashmila , kalana and front office staff is good.......

This hotel is amazing. We spent only 1 day but it’s very relaxing day. Good staff with good service. Thashmila and Sandi is really helpful for us we will definitely come back here. Food also really good. Many varieties available in buffet. Lovely stay

Very pretty hotel. Well appointed. Large restaurant with an adjoining bar lounge. The rooms are spacious and everyone has a fabulous view of the expansive pool. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Pretty beach, safe for swimming. Great and attentive staff. A wonderful hotel to stay in for a couple of nights.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the pent house in Hotel Eden, service was excellent by all staff. Special thank you for food and beverage manager Mahesh front desk staff Niroshan and Sadu who gave us a warm welcome and checked on us at sll times. all of them made us feel very comfortable and so glad that we chose our stay at Eden. We enjoyed the food, beach......and had a memorable stay in beruwela.
