Campus1 Mtl Student Residence Downtown Montreal

Downtown Montreal Montreal|0.33km from McCord Stewart Museum
We were looking forward to our three night stay at Campus1 Montreal while we toured downtown with our kids. We checked in the first afternoon, but by the evening, the tickle in my throat had become a cough with a runny nose. By the morning we thought we should shorten our trip so asked about reducing our stay by one night - well ahead of the 24 hours notice that seemed to be the only thing required (we looked at the cancellation policy before we left). We were told that we would still have to pay for the final night even if we gave notice and checked out in the morning after our second night - because we were already checked in. Apparently you can't reduce your stay after you check in. We left early anyway because it seemed I was getting more ill and masking with a very runny nose is uncomfortable and difficult. On the plus side, the room was clean. The included breakfasts were good - basic, but a large selection. On the negative side, the towels were very small and thin. The mattresses were those vinyl jobs that while easy to keep clean are NOT comfortable at all. An extra mattress pad or blanket over the mattress itself could solve this. If you intend to use the common communal kitchen for any other meals, be aware that there are no pots, dishes, utensils, or dish soap of any kind. If you stay here, bring your own bedding, towels, and if you want to cook - bring your own kitchen items. Checkout on the second morning took a long time. There was a long line up and the staff seemed overwhelmed / unprepared. I overheard one staff member say to a customer, ”I don't know - I'm not even from this province.” I'd say they had a staff shortage problem - which seems to be common right now. Overall, I don't think this room was worth the per night money we spent on it and much less so because we had to pay for a night we couldn't use. We could have found something better for less money. We will not be staying here again.

Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile

The hotel is very good, easy to downtown, shopping shopping, because of bad weather, could not find a convenient surrounding small supermarket, so it feels there is some inconvenience. Because we booked a room without breakfast, ordering in a restaurant to eat breakfast, very good, a little expensive. Overall feeling good

The Omni Mont-Royal Hotel is a perfect hotel in Montreal. Excellent montain view and quiet environment. I think I will back to stay this hotel next vacation. Love this hotel, so write a review. The location is in the central area, but it's backed by mountains and it's quiet. Suitable for non-upstart vacationers, you can climb nearby. The natural scenery of Tianhe Mountain is out of the window. I stayed for five nights and climbed twice. There are many restaurants near the hotel, about 15 minutes walking distance from Chinatown. Hotel service is good, French-speaking Montrealers are generally polite (speakers who speak Chinese loudly on the street will of course be blind-eyed), everything in the hotel is free and the staff is polite, I like this holiday environment . The hotel arranged a nice room for me, thank you very much!
Le St-Martin Hotel Centre-Ville – Hotel Particulier

The hotel is located in the city center, there are many roads nearby, and parking is not convenient. I went around a large circle for the first time, and then asked the hotel front desk to park for you. The room is relatively comfortable, the bedding is good, and European style. Breakfast costs more than 20 Canadian dollars per person, not too many varieties.

Found hotel through searches on TripAdvisor and Google Maps. Took a chance booking our 4 night Montreal getaway from NYC on a newly opened hotel. The reviews were great, as was the hotel location. And I vibed with the hotel decor from the photos I saw during my research. So we went for it. And we were happy with our stay. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel’s friendly and courteous front desk staff. They were so helpful throughout our stay. Our king bed suite with city view was fantastic. Really cool room layout and decor. Bed was super comfortable. Nice touch with the bench at the foot of the bed. And the floor length curtains by the windows and separating the bedroom from bathroom were room darkening and so easy to open and close. We most loved how the tv swiveled around from living room to bedroom allowing us to watch tv in different room settings. Very cool concept. Shower was fun and funky enclosed in a pink ombré cube and visible within the room We enjoyed use of the gym, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna on 15th floor. The views were spectacular. Areas to improve….but to me, not worth a deduction: - Poor lighting in living room and bedroom. No option to independently turn on/off bedside lamps or lighting in the foyer. It was all or nothing. And although there was a full length mirror in the foyer, the lighting wasn’t great. - Bathroom mirror was fantastic but the lighting was horrible. - Sofa hard. Could have been less “IKEA” and more plush and cozy. A blanket would have been nice touch too for snuggling. - When the door of the room safe located on the top shelf inside the closet was open, it kept banging into and scraping the inside closet door.

The environment is OK, in the city center, 18 kilometers from the airport and more than 1 kilometers from the railway station When I got there, I just caught up with the elevator and broke down The service is very good. When it rains, there will be a waiter with an umbrella standing at the door to take you into the car The breakfast variety is a bit small, but the bread is very fresh and delicious. The girl who served smiled very sweetly. After I ordered hot milk on the first day, when I got there the next day, the girl asked immediately and needed hot milk. Well, the sense of distance is gone all at once, it feels good The door of the room is a bit thin and not soundproof. Fortunately, foreigners can pass by in the corridor quietly during sleeping hours. There is only one lock in the room, which is a bit insecure for the Chinese; mineral water is not provided in the room. But there is a hot pot, as long as there is it, we Chinese will not be afraid
