And service at the bar was appalling and to a certain extent I would even use “racist” to put it. As a Titanium with Marriot Bonvoy and a Globalist with World of Hyatt, I must say I made a terrible mistake staying at Tokyo Edition. I am sure I would receive better treatment and a better holiday experience if I stay at Andaz Tokyo which is across the street!

Had a super early flight into Haneda and wasn't feeling well because of lack of sleep and an uncomfortable flight, I was ready to pay for an extra day to just to be able to check-in early and get some sleep. I got to the hotel before the reception started shift, when the receptionist came in I asked if I could check-in early because I wasn't feeling well, she checked my reservation and said the room wasn't ready but a double bed was available so I could rest there and switch to my single room at the normal check-in time. I felt bad and asked if I can just pay the difference to change my reservation to the double bed so they don't have to clean the room again but she said it's fine and she'll just go in and clean again before the next guest comes in. They went out of their way to help me out and I was really touched by this gesture. THANK YOU AGAIN!
