"Not far from the beach and the whale watching pier. I don't know about the food. I don't know if it's because there are too many restaurants on the beach, but it seems that no one is eating in the hotel. I ordered a takeaway breakfast before 6 am, which was considered punctual. I went downstairs 5 minutes earlier and there was no one at the front desk, haha. The hot water for the shower can only come from the ceiling-mounted showerhead, and the handheld shower can only give hot water. I asked the hotel to come to the room to check it out, and waited for 30 minutes. It was called twice, and it was confirmed that hot water only came from one end."

"This hotel is next to the beach of mirissa. The owner is a female Canadian. There are 4 villas in total. The 8 rooms are very modern. There is a large area where you can have tea and coffee. The swimming pool is also very good. It has its own piece. The beach is great. The breakfast in the morning was also delicious and the experience was great."

"The hotel is on one side of the road and on the other side of the beach. Sea view rooms are highly recommended. The road rooms are too noisy"

"Really lovely stay at Flora and Fauna. Excellent location close to the beach, free parking for our rented tuktuk and kind staff members. We saw water monitor lizards right next to the hotel, so crazy!"

"There is a problem with the light in the room. After closing, it will flash for half a minute. It has not been repaired. I was awakened at night."

"The standard of this hotel and it's rooms, is exceptional! Definetly 10 out of 10 for mine ,as l have stayed in 100,s of hotels around the world over the past 30 years,( except for Covid) it;s not beach front ,but it is only a short scenic walk to a great beach area any way! The staff where very friendly and helpful in advice on where to visit etc. Would certainly stay again ,and l recomend this hotel to any one wishing to stay in this area."

The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a coastal vibe. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sea breeze was an absolute highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was delightful—fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options to choose from. I especially loved their seafood dishes, which were prepared to perfection. Another great feature was the location. It’s close enough to Mirissa’s main attractions but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, giving you the best of both worlds."

"This hotel was in a very nice location. We had access to the beach right through the back of the hotel. Then, you are able to walk along and get to the main beach. The staff was helpful when the power in our room didn’t work. We were moved to a new room. Which turned out to be much better because the first room was infested with ants. Ants all over the toilet, sink, and on the floor along the walls. Great location, but make sure to check for ants. "
