We went on a family trip and stayed at Dream Dragon on the coldest day during the Spring Festival. I stayed here once more than 5 years ago and was very impressed. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and quiet, and the water quality of the hot spring is excellent, but remember to bring towels from the room, there are no towels in the hot spring. The snacks are delicious. The puffs and coffee shops in Kurokawa Town are very good. There are century-old shops everywhere. It is a quaint place.

The hotel is located on a plateau plain, which is very affected by the weather. There is often heavy fog and hazy phenomena, and the scenery may not necessarily be good. However, the air is very fresh and the temperature is perfect. In addition, the hotel facilities are good and the food is very diverse and attractive. The room is so big and convenient for picking up luggage. Because the location is not very convenient, it is only recommended for self-driving travelers.

Excellent service by the staffs! Very warm and welcoming. It was raining heavily that day, but one of the staff helped to wipe down our luggage when it wasn't necessary and helped to bring it up to the room as we were too early for check-in. When we came back, the luggages were near a heater for quick drying... just a neat detail that we very much appreciated. The dinner and breakfast were one of our most delicious and memorable meals in Japan. Words are not enough to describe it! The outdoor hot spring doesn't have much a view, but it was still nice! Hope I am able to come back and enjoy the ryokan experience again!

It is clean and tidy. There is a separate toilet but no bathroom. You have to go to the hotel's hot spring area to take a bath. But this is also very convenient. The hotel is remote, and you have to take a taxi to go to Kurokawa Naka. Miyama Sansou opened in 2014 with all rooms as private rooms, following in the footsteps of Shinmeikan, with 120 years of tradition, and Yamamizuki, which opened in 1989.
