Was raining throughout my 2 nights stay thus we chose to stay in the hotel and enjoy the Onsen facilities.
Location is quite secluded and recommend to rent a car if you want to stay here.

This stay at Ryokan Sanga is faultless, from service, to food, hot springs to everything, it’s so thoughtfully set up and delivered. It’s not a luxury place but our stay there is well beyond luxury. Love it so much and have no hesitation to recommend it. Worth all the travel to meet the nice people in this wonderland of onset.

This hotel location is very good. in the hills in the deep forest very cold weather. Delicious dinner, strange has horse sashimi, clean rooms and beautiful . The outdoor onsen is very beautiful. Breakfast is good.

Facilities: an old Japanese hotel with an elegant environment and normal facilities. When I went there, the room was 0 degrees and the air conditioner was quite cold. There were streams on both sides of my room, and the bathroom was under the stairwell. I wrote this in the hope that everyone would not have too high expectations and then blame the hotel facilities. In fact, I think it is quite good to be so simple. The view from my room is very good and I like it very much.
The hotel is surrounded by greenery and the environment is very good, quiet and comfortable. The lobby is also very beautiful. When you enter the hotel, you basically wear the hotel's wooden clogs. There will also be a sign corresponding to the room on the wooden clogs to identify your slippers, etc.
The hotel's private hot spring needs to be booked and then go to the front desk to get the key according to the time. The hotel service staff will go to clean it up after each use. Of course, the most famous one is the six-foot barrel. When I first took a bath, I was worried that it would be very cold (open-air bath), but it was not cold once I took a bath. It should be more beautiful when it is green outside.
The recommended hiking route of the hot spring town can be completed in one day, five kilometers round trip, so I think staying for one day is enough.
The hotel offers one night and two meals, which are very light local cuisine. The hotel staff will adjust according to your preferences. I ate different food during my two-day stay, which shows that the hotel is very attentive.
The hotel is a little far from the hot spring street, and it is very convenient to have a car to pick you up. In fact, I think it is also good to walk back and forth.
