"Got an early check-in ..thanks. The room was very big and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and well organised. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch. The food was good great , we really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly.
We will be returning."
"Because we have two children, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite with two single beds for an additional 35 euros. It was so cute. The hotel is huge and the environment is super beautiful. Children can also rent bicycles for free and watch ponies. Apart from the relatively remote location, there are no disadvantages and it’s very cost-effective!"
Adorned with wisteria, Ballymaloe House Hotel sits within 300 acres of the unspoilt Irish countryside. Only 4km from the iconic Ballymaloe Cookery School makes it the perfect getaway for fine dining fanatics, lovers of vast open spaces and those looking to step away from cosmopolitan city life. The unrivalled location sets the scene for tranquillity which washes over every space. Calming tones lead you to your bedroom, each overspilling with unique elegant character. Afterwards, browse designer Irish gifts at the shop, pick up an indulgent homemade cake at the cafe or take a trip down to the wine cellar and taste sommelier selected tipples. A short journey away is Cork city, where you can learn a little history, and tour the City Gaol or Elizabeth fort before visiting the English Market for some more local food and drink. Closer to home, the Midleton Distillery Experience offers a comprehensive tour and tasting at the home of Jameson Whiskey. Ballymaloe House Hotel is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.
"Great location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then.
Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him.
Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too."
"The Bellavista self-catering suite is located in the Cove town of Cove. The hotel is divided into two parts. The main building has a beautiful view above the town. The family apartment I booked is also good. It is close to the sea and there are restaurants and shops nearby."
"The hostel is located near the nice beach and the cathedral.
The 27 hours of continuous flight made me feel bad, but the clean toilet was nice with warm water.
If you visit Cove again, I will visit again."
