Easy shuttle from the airport. The automated Hilton Honors pre check-in worked well so we headed straight up to our but on arrival we discovered our room was next to a very noisy elevator and every time it passed by it made a loud metallic rattling noise on the wall next to the bed. We called reception and eventually got an answer. They said they would call back to let us know if they had another room but after 30 minutes did not call back. I went down and joined the reception queue and then eventually did get a room away from the elevators. The reception said they were aware of the noise issue. We decided to go for a cocktail before retiring (they had ”Havana Night” specials?) and it was the weakest and most tasteless cocktail on record. Other than that the room was comfortable and quiet.

This hotel is embarrassing and an insult to the name “Regency”. It is surprising such a structure, in this condition, is nearby a major US airport such as Miami International. No laundry / dry cleaning service is available. The structure looks like it hasn’t been refurbished since the early 60s of the 20th century. The only photos that still represent the existing condition of the structure today are the ones of the pool, but unfortunately it was closed but I stayed there — or rather, when I checked in and then checked out after half an hour. First time in my life that I change hotel after check-in because of the conditions of the building and the services provided. A special mention goes to the staff, that is kind, proactive and truly at the client’s disposal (not ironic: I mean it). You can tell that they do what they can to compensate the hotel’s conditions, but unfortunately in this case the problem is not the staff: it is the hotel.

Stayed here on an over night lay over with my family of four (two adults, two older teens). After a delayed arrival at around 7:30pm, all we wanted to do was get to our hotel. Waited for 10 minutes no shuttle. Called the hotel, told them where we were standing and was instructed to move to pick up station 7 and shuttle would be on the way. 20 minutes later. No shuttle. Called again and same front desk employee told me ”I don't know what to tell you, he's on the way should be there in less than 10 minutes. Just as we were about to give up and take a cab, along came the shuttle. Driver was nice, I”m guessing busy doing something else when we needed him to pick us up. Here is your pro tip: 1: Don't assume the shuttle runs non stop. It doesn't. 2: Call the hotel and make sure its on the way. 3. If you have an early AM flight, don't stay here unless you want to UBER or Cab to the airport. The shuttle does not start running to the airport until 7AM. Our flight left at 7:30, so a 12 dollar UBER it was. The rest of our experience was fine. This is nice property. Had the two bedroom unit and had great space for our family. Used the washer and dryer on second floor (bring your quarters 1.75 per wash, 1.00 per dry). They have a full service bar that stays open until 9pm. Until they improve their Airport shuttle service (remember, they are an AIRPORT HOTEL). I would stay someplace else.

Had a horrible experience a couple of blocks away at some trashy place… But not only was this hotel the exact opposite of that, but they ACTUALLY got me in the vacation mood right back again. Luis the manager was nothing but a knowledgeable young man of the area and his hospitality is what got me to give this a shot. 10/10

Our excellent experience at the Tru began before we even arrived. Julissa and Dia both assisted in making sure that our accommodations for the week were just what we needed. Upon arrival everyone was courteous and eager to let us know that they were there to help in any way. Our room had a wonderful view of the pool, Biscayne Bay in the distance, and downtown Miami. Speaking of the room, it was the perfect size for us, with a comfortable king bed, large tv, and clean throughout (and kept well clean during our 1-week stay by housekeeping team). We very much appreciated the complimentary hot breakfast, and what made the breakfast especially tasty and fresh were the number of hotel team members making sure that all food options were available (e.g. eggs, bagels, english muffins, fruit, and coffee ALL restocked as needed throughout the breakfast service.) The pool was my favorite place to relax during the day. Ample towels and umbrellas were available, pool deck was kept clean, and the pool water was clean, cool, and refreshing. In summary between the lovely room accommodations, outstanding complimentary breakfast, great loaction (just a short walk from Brickell center), relaxing pool area, and most of all, the highly professional and courteous hotel team - from leadership across all levels - the Tru is an exceptional value for short or long stays in Miami.

In my first stay I had been in tenth floor which is more better and newer but my second stay they gave me a room in fourth floor which is aged and old and no refrigerator or microwave inside . I didn’t like it but as a whole the hotel is Ok , staff at the reception need to be more friendly and smile to visitors. Some of them they don’t even answer a complete answer . It’s all about the location , location , location in the heart of the downtown where you can go all around at day but at night alot of homeless around the area . As it was OK . Don’t forget to bring your water with you .

Modern minimalist style, small room, narrow and short bed; the bathroom countertop can't hold a mouthwash cup, no hooks to hang clothes; the lighting is too simple, the light source is the table lamp and a dim light ***** above the open cabinet; push open the balcony door, you can see the residential building opposite, very close 😂 The location is OK, just at the corner of Fifth Street, very close to South Beach. There is a pizza shop downstairs. ￥2300/night, even on weekends, it's not worth staying in this room, there is also a $39.9 resort fee, and parking fee is $40/night. The best thing of the day was the Latin beauty at the front desk asked intimately, would you like some champagne? 😀 opened the bottle immediately.

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. It's a perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Everglades and/or Biscayne National Parks. We also stayed here prior to visiting Key West. It was the perfect place to sleep, eat breakfast and drive through the Florida Keys. The check in/out process is simple, the rooms are clean and breakfast always hits the spot. The service is always friendly and I will be back.

EEnderYinThe location of the hotel is very convenient. It's a 3-minute walk from the MetroMover Bayfront station. It's next to the seaside park and the Bayside business district. There are also whole foods and CVS within a 10-minute walk. The hotel meets intercontinental standards and check-in at the front desk was quick even on Thanksgiving Day. Sea view rooms also have a great view of the bay. The room was very quiet. Sanitary cleaning is qualified. You can only choose valet parking, and the overnight fee is 55.37, which can be combined with the room deposit and credit card payment. When you pick up your car, just reply to the parking text message and someone will pick it up in less than 5 minutes, which is very convenient. The hotel has sixt car rental company, if you don't have a car rental option. Overall very satisfied.

YYUETINGWe will stay here again when we come back to Miami. The hotel service is very good, we arrived very early in the morning, the hotel still tried to help us find a vacant room for us to check in. There are big supermarkets, pharmacies and monorails that travel around the city for free within a few minutes of walking. I will still live here next time.

GGuest UserMy boyfriend, our dog and I just spent a week at the Mondrian. From the moment we arrived, the guys at the entrance gave us a very pleasant welcome and from then on all the staff. Those at the reception, those at the bar, those at the pool, those at the restaurant and the maids gave us an exceptional treatment, always friendly and with a sweet smile on their faces, we really felt at home and our pet did too. He received a lot of affection from all of them and was happy for the whole hotel. We highly recommend this hotel. Its location, its exquisite aroma, its wonderful and professional staff and its rooms and facilities always clean and in good condition exactly as you see them in the photos on the web. We really can't wait to go back. Thank you very much once again for making us feel so good.

GGuest UserThe hotel couldn't be any closer or more convenient to the terminals and for our early am check in. We had access to the entire terminal's shops and restaurants. We walked around looking at our gate areas, so we knew where we needed to go. Check in was easy however, they didn't mention the restaurant on the 7th floor so instead, we ended up paying over $100 at a chain restaurant with a burger/sandwich menu. The price point is extremely high for what you get - for $250 plus a night I'd expect a refrigerator or a microwave, some wash cloths, more than one regular coffee packet and some soap, however, once we asked twice, we received these items fairly quickly. The rooms are dated, not doubt, but the king bed was big and comfy. I was rather pleased with the bright lighting and expandable makeup mirror in the bathroom. Nice to see what you really look like rather than looking in a dim mirror for once which is what you get now at higher end facilities. The window was filthy so there was no looking out the window-to be fair I doubt its easy to clean when jets are constantly flying over your head. The carpet needs to be replaced, there really was very little left of it in the room. Hallway carpet dated but clean. The TV/cable didn't work due to provider changes occurring within the county and the airport is a county building (which is was what we were told when we asked how to use the TV.) We were able to use wireless to stream TV on the iPad - it would have nice if they mentioned that as well so we weren't fighting about how to work the remote. There are really no amenities, and I would say this is comparable to an older but clean motel. However, it took 28 minutes total in the morning to check in, check our bags, get through security and be seated at the gate. Long story short, we would stay there again for an early am flight if we could get a cheaper price.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is good located and has plenty of parking space. However, a refurbishment is urgently needed specially the toilets. The staff need a improvement too. My room was not ready for us. We were 3 and the sofa bed was not ready for our arrival. After a 9h flight the last thing I wanted is to fix where my daughter will sleep. On the next day I requested some bedding and extra towels in the reception. The receptionist sent a message to someone and said that will be sorted. When I arrived back to my room later that day, nothing was done. Complained to reception and everything was handled to me promptly. Another thing to improve is make sure your staff is comfortable talking English! Most of your front house are fluent in Spanish, nothing against that, but I expect them to have good English and not to be afraid to talk with customer in English. I do understand this hotel is located in a big Hispanic community, however you need to make sure your front house staff do speak English too. Thanks Cristiano Oliveira

GGuest UserI used my RCI exchange network to begin my relocation to FL. Prior to my arrival an angel, Lisette seamlessly kept me in the same oceanfront unit for my 3 week stay. I didn’t even have to ask. In addition a second angel, Nicolle at the front desk made me feel so welcome and was beyond accommodating. May God continue to bless these 2 ladies. Thanks for making me feel safe and comfortable during my stay. The resort is meticulously attended to and continuously cleaned. My 1bedroom was beautiful, and it wasn’t a remodeled unit. Full ocean view was a plus. Every staff member I was in contact with has worked here a long time and genuinely catered to guests from their heart. See you soon! A Gomez

凌凌檬616The taxi was wrong. It was more than 4 am when I came here. The button for booking last night went dark. The day of booking was counted as yesterday. Check out at 11 o'clock and rest for a few hours. When the reservation is made, no check-in and no cancellation will be given. Only checked in again at night and found a motel with a gas station outside.
