Menghai Hotels with Wi-Fi

This has been such a wonderful stay! The hotel staff were so polite and friendly in every interaction. Dana, one of the receptionists, added me on WeChat at check-in and messaged to ask if there was anything we needed each day of our stay! (My Chinese speaking skills are not great.) The room was very clean and our balcony overlooked the pool. The breakfast buffet offered many options. The hot springs were very relaxing and there were many outdoor pools of varying temperatures, so it did not feel crowded at all. There's a wonderful 'park' about a five minute walk up the hill with a hiking trail that leads to the top of a hill/small mountain and offers a beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing. There are a number of hammocks and swings on the way to the viewpoint. There are also other places to walk, nice viewpoints, what looked to be an obstacle course, a pink sand area, and more at the 'park.' We chose to eat our dinners at nearby restaurants - there is one affordable lakefront restaurant about a fifteen minute walk down the hill that we liked a lot. The hotel has several golf carts that depart/arrive from the lobby entrance if you want them to take you to the hot springs or the restaurants area. You can call the hotel and they'll come pick you up as well. Although this hotel is not close to the main Xishuangbanna tourist attractions, it is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for fantastic service, beautiful facilities, and a relaxing trip. I would absolutely stay here again!

Chinese Rich style hotel, huge lobby, spacious room, high ceiling, giant bed, mirrors across half the wall, carpets on the floor, red wood hand carved furniture in the lobby which is an attraction on its own. Rooms have all necessary toiletries, including hair dryer. Complimentary fruits and balls of Puer tea. Breakfast is massive buffet, could be good enough as a dinner. Staff are extremely nice and helpful, helped us to sort sightseeing places, find a driver, book everything, wrote names in Chinese language of the places we wanted to go. Hotel location is also very convenient, close to everything. Enjoyed the stay.

A really relaxing and enjoyable stay at JiangLu Nanuoshan Mountain Inn. Scenic location nestled in the mountains, the weather here was cooler and more comfortable than in nearby Jinghong. The rooftop cafe was a great place to see the beautiful sunset each evening, and the room balcony view was also spectacular. Would recommend the morning tea hike activity, it was a great way to better understand where tea comes from and sample Pu'er tea once back at the hotel. If you are up for a longer hike (1.5 hours each way) you can also walk up the scenic mountain road to see a nearby ancient tea tree. Food was excellent, enjoyable breakfast and a variety of delicious dishes available for dinner. Hotel service was first rate, hotel staff checked in often to make sure that the room and the stay were great. Will definitely stay here again on next visit to Xishuangbanna!

In the villa area of 37～ 39 in the Humbala International Resort, the environment is good and the sun is sufficient. The Thai decoration is good, there is a big gray elephant at the door, and there is a blue elephant eye tree that looks good. Breakfast is simple, it is not convenient for lunch and dinner. Drinking dried unprocessed pure natural tea every day is good, and sending fruit. Drinking tea in the open air on both sides of the stairs at the gate, the design is clever! The room is sunny on many sides, living in 303, no elevator, Nanxi windows, full of sun! The bathroom is large, the double sink is convenient, the ginseng soap is good, the bath products are not good, if the disposable small bottles such as L'Occitane are fine! There is a bathtub, the water is light blue, comfortable. The open-air grass paste is the best, I was bitten on my right elbow and left face.

It costs about 150 yuan to take a taxi from downtown Banna. It's quite far away and the air is very good. It's just in a town and there are no businesses. The hotel room is large, even a little empty, which is what you would expect from a snail shell, and the decoration is a bit old. To be honest, I was a little disappointed when I went there. My kids didn't like it very much. They couldn't see the stars while lying on the bed, and there were no facilities for children in the hotel. Some bathtubs looked like I didn’t want to take a bath, so I spent money to go to a nearby hotel to soak in a hot spring, and there was a battery car to pick me up. The hot springs there are not bad if there are few people, and the open-air ones are quite beautiful. It would be great to have an indoor pool. By the way, there are a lot of peacocks and you can get up close and personal. Children like it very much. There really wasn't much to eat around, and even taking a taxi to their town was deserted. Is it because of the Chinese New Year?

Very satisfied accommodation, the room is relatively large, the decoration is relatively new, it is rare to have such a good hotel in the county. Very cost-effective. Especially breakfast, the richness exceeded expectations. I really feel better than the real holiday inn. During the Chinese New Year, eating is a problem, many shops are not open, the front desk introduced the nearby Hongyuan Restaurant, the review can not be found, but also worried that it is a **, after the arrival, I found that it was quite good, the price was fair, 9 people only ate 600 during the Chinese New Year, steak bones are especially good. Eat whatever you want, never step on thunder. If there are shortcomings, the smell of smoke in the room is still a bit heavy. Maybe there is no distinction between smoking and non-smoking rooms.

We booked a 45 square meter courtyard king bed room at Jizhu Holiday Apartment in Menghai Resort. Since we arrived early and the room was not ready yet, the owner upgraded us to a 60 square meter one bedroom and one living room suite. The owner was very enthusiastic and had a strong sense of service, and it felt like home.
