"My family and I enjoyed our recent stay at Citadines on Burke Melbourne. The standout positives were:
1. Staff Service: Check-in was excellent. The staff were warm, professional, and very helpful, setting a welcoming tone immediately.
2. Room Size: Plenty of room for luggage and for everyone to move around without feeling cramped.
3. Bathroom Amenities: The provided toiletries were nice quality and appreciated.
Items for improvements:
The spaciousness makes this hotel ideal for families. However, to make them truly perfect for families like ours, I'd suggest the management consider offering some room options with two queen-size beds to enhance comfort and sleep quality for parents and children sharing the room.
Despite this suggestion, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay thanks to the great service, ample space, and good facilities. We would definitely consider staying again."

"I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money."

"Traveling to the airport was super convenient thanks to the nearby SkyBus. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which made things even easier for us. Our room was very spacious and looked exactly like the photos—clean, modern, and sweetly comfortable. The bedding was especially nice and cozy.
The layout of the hotel is a bit complex, so it took us a little while to find our room, and it was a bit of a walk from the elevator. Still, once we settled in, everything was great.
We didn’t use many of the hotel’s facilities, but we did enjoy the gaming area located at the back of the lobby—it was really fun and a nice bonus. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay close to the SkyBus!"

"The check in was very late from our side in the night and we didn't realized that reception will be closed after 8pm. And also no one was reachable for this late check in. Even a phone number was on the door, but no one answered 😒
The room is big but a little bit bad smelling. Also it's not really clean."
"Very general hotel, not as good as the Internet said. First of all, the hotel room is very small, no difference from the youth travel. Secondly, all aspects of health are not in place. When we arrived in the room, there was still water in the kettle (water from the last guest). There is no hand sanitizer.
Overall, the price is not high, and there are many choices at the same price in the city center."

"Typical sterile boring but very functional Hotel. Not much difference in many of these types of hotels dotted around the city. It is purely there to do what it advertisers to do which is provide a comfortable night accommodation but has about as much excitement and spark as my 95-year-old grandfather. 👴…. It’s as boring as you would expect it to be sitting off the edge of the city. however, the rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable so no complaints in that respect. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a night accommodation purely for a night accommodation. unfortunately this is where hotels are heading in this functional world of ours. Boring but functional. If there was a pod hotel in Melbourne, I would definitely stay there instead of here as at least a pod hotel will have a travel vibe to it. "
"Was a lovely place to stay. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Melbourne. Clean , staff were lovely , security parking . Easy access to local coffee shops. Highly Recommended"
"The hotel is great, very close to Swinburne University of Technology, 5 minutes walk. The favorite is the fully equipped kitchen in the room, especially suitable for Chinese people who don't like western food very much. You can buy your own ingredients to cook. The lady at the front desk is very beautiful, and the attitude is very enthusiastic. Yes, she will settle in when she has the chance."

Great
GGuest UserThis is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.
JJ8holiyayMy brief one-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne left a positive impression. The hotel exudes a classic, luxurious feel, evident from the grand lobby to the well-appointed rooms. The location is undeniably excellent, placing you right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD with easy access to shopping and dining. While a short stay limited my ability to fully explore all amenities, the service was professional and efficient. The room was comfortable and considered quiet, ensuring a restful night. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Melbourne offers a reliable and upscale experience for those seeking a central and comfortable stay.

FFudededagegeThis hotel boasts a fantastic location. Southern Cross Station is just a 5-minute walk away, right across the intersection. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and DFO is only a 10-minute walk. You can easily walk to the city center, making public transport unnecessary – incredibly convenient! Chinatown is also within easy reach. The beds are spacious, and the hotel provides complimentary breakfast. While the selection isn't vast, it's certainly enough to fill you up.

CClarrence LeoWe are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!

GGuest UserVery good service. Here very good. Staff so nice. We have night flight we can left the luggage here by no need to pay anything more. Just we would like to give you improve about some cleaning because a lot of dust in the room makes us cough because of dust and winter should have some hotel slippers in the room. Everything good and connivence. Thank you. We feel very happy rest here when travel at Melbourne.

SSolomon LoOn 24/6 I ordered fried eggs during breakfast, yet the quality of the eggs were not up to standard, yolk was not normal and with no taste at all, yet I ordered same on the next day with a different chef, that was back to a normal egg, I wondered Sheraton would use such quality of eggs!
Another opinion is that gym room facilities are not enough, thanks!

BBec143I’ve stayed at numerous at the Punt Hill apartments over the past decade, though it had been a while since I last stayed in one.
Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, however the hotel is quite run down now.
Walls in the bathroom weren’t very clean, neither were mugs and cutlery (I always make a habit of cleaning things before I use them!).
I ended up staying mostly in the hotel as I was sick with the flu so I noticed the wifi was very glitchy and intermittent too so it made streaming shows quite difficult to watch that I ended up just using my phone.
The beds were comfortable though!
The location is actually fantastic too, right in the heart of China town and easily walkable to places.

GGuest UserLocation: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing.
Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash.
Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised.
Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it.
Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great
GGuest UserVery easy check in. Instructions by reception were spot on.
The one bedroom apartment was huge. Plenty of room with an equally huge balcony.
The place was clean, apart from one of the towels that had some type of hard black stain that stick do towels to it’s self. Not ideal, but this would be an issue with the laundry company that Quest use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.
