Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne Reviews

The hotel is located in prime Melbourne CBD area where Chinatown and major shopping malls are just within walking distance. The room is clean and bed is comfy. Smart TV is available that you could login to your Netflix and YouTube account. Access to guest floors is not so convenient during our stay as maintenance work is carrying out and we have to walk via the staff tunnel to get to our floor. The shower design is something that caught us off guard as there’s no door attached to it. Water just leaks out to the floor and the whole bathroom was flooded every night after we shower. Not sure if doors could be installed, but it will be less of a hassle for the cleaning staff to work on every day and better experience for guests. Overall, it’s a good hotel and I will recommend it to anyone who’s traveling to Melbourne city.

Very good location overlooking the city center (CBD, Business District). Clean bathroom, not so clean pavement with old style moquette.

Really Awesome place to stay with family . It is located at the heart of city so it will be really feasible to roam around nearby places .

Pool is not heated, blender at the bar is not working, otherwise it’s great stay :)

Stay was good and fantastic. But normally traver only bring toothbrush 🪥 and expect toothpaste will be there. But unfortunately we could meet that expectation other thing is perfect. Thanks

Good location in which close to everything. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. The only minor downside is the ironing board is a bit dusty.

Room was clean and spacious, bathroom was a bit older and shower product quality (shampoo, body wash etc) could be improved. Reception was very friendly and made check in and out easy. Overall great stay.

When I first checked in, there was an air conditioner on the balcony of the room, which was very noisy and I couldn't sleep at all. I told the front desk and the supervisor changed the room. The new room was OK and relatively quiet. The hotel is next to Chinatown, which is very convenient. Overall good.

In order to conveniently go to the airport the next day, we booked this hotel in the city center. In addition to convenient transportation, there are also various restaurants nearby, and Chinatown is within easy reach. It is the first choice for tourists and business people.

The building and the facilities are a bit old, but the price is indeed cheaper than other hotels, and the location is also OK. I can only say that from an economical point of view, it is OK.

The room is very clean. It's near Chinatown. The location is very good. It's very convenient for free travel. The nearby attractions are not far away. You can go shopping and eat. The University of Melbourne and the State Library are just a short walk away.
