Mercure Welcome Melbourne

Room smaller than expected. Overall no issue except the sound proof is very poor, can clearly hear the conversation in next door. Didn’t know it has no slipper provided, this is my bad as I didn’t read the description carefully. Location is great. Walking distance to most shopping centre.

There was a problem with the air conditioner. And I felt the reception was little unfriendly.. However location was perfect and the room condition was also great.

Before I went to Melbourne, I had had the negative experience of Mercure in Thailand and I didn't want to choose it, to be honest, but I didn't have any choice because the price and location were better than other places. Wow. I was surprise because everything was unexpected I can say thanks to the hotel 1.The location is good and it is located in the CBD. Convenient transportation, lots of Asian restaurants, supermarkets and convenient stores. It is not far from the place I had to work. 2.The staff are great and helpful with service mind. Yes, I found a Thai girl staff who is really nice. We received the good service. Even though, the policy is they clean the room 1 in 3 days, but I was ok because we had to save the world. 3.The size of the room is small and the size of the beds were small too but enough for sleeping well and everything in the room was clean and function well. 4.No water bottles. I understood that we had to drink water from the tab. I was used to it because I knew it well, but my boss was not used to it and couldn't accept this. Please make the remark in the booking or put a paper in the room so that some people can prepare themselves for this culture. However, thanks for the milk in the fridge. Just positive experiences with this hotel this time. Thanks to you all

The room is not bad. But in the first night I got the connected room and next room is very loud&noisy at the midnight!!. I asked front desk to solve the problem for two times. Then they suggested we move to another room. Next room was good, but everything will all good if it wasn’t happened.

Room was not services, has been informed to Housekeeping Team but still didn’t take any action. Came to reception counter was told that only stay up to 3nights only do the linen change. Hotel room phone wasn’t working even they helped us to change a new one. Bathroom was terrible, water leak from the bath and floor was flooded but there is not drainage except from the bath. I don’t think this hotel worth for 4 stars rating.

Located at a super convenient place surrounded by shopping malls and eating outlets. The only thing is the chambermaid doesn't clean the room daily unless you make a request at the reception. Even then, the message may not be effectively commumicated which happened in my stay. Other than that, the stay was pretty pleasant.
