Find the Cheap Matsuyama Hotels

The airconditioning was terrible. I woke up several times in the night because of the heat.

Stayed 2N. The property is locate next to the Dogo Onsen (Japan's oldest onsen) which is undergoing renovations. The hotel is equally old and is designed in a very elegant way. I was assigned a low floor room with a partial view of an ornate stage. I opted for the traditional Japanese room which was very large. The floor was tatami and the futon bed would be setup by the houskeepers in the evening and packed away in the morning. The room came with 4 sizes of yukata for you to choose. The yukata can be worn within the property and even for a walk into town. The room was well appointed and clean . The toilet had a bath and squat shower, and WC in a separate closet. The bed was very comfy. Wifi signal was strong. The AC was on the warm side, but fortunately, I could open the windows to let in fresh air. The highlight was the onsen with indoor and outdoor pools. Located next to the onsen entrance was self-service **free** sake and some sweets for children. Breakfast was served in a banquet hall and with an incredibly large array of choices. All the staff we met were hospitable. Will return.

We went north from the Shimanto River to Matsuyama. Matsuyama's inn is here Hotel Katsuragi. There is a subtitle called spa resort. About 1 minute walk from Dogo Onsen main building. The unfortunate thing was that the bathing of the Dogo Onsen main building was waiting for an hour and a half because it was during the golden week. Maybe even if you enter in line, you will use the Asuka no Yusen of the branch building because it is a rush hour. It was good. The hot springs in the inn were good, and let's forget about the main building.

新しくできたゲストハウスで、いつか泊まってみたいと思っていたので、今回たまたま宿泊しました。 受付の方が、到着時間に合わせて鍵の受け渡しをしてくださるので、予約時に到着予定時間を書いておくと良いです。 近隣にいろいろな飲食店がありますので、お好み焼き、クラフトビール、かき氷…等々、三津の滞在を楽しんでもらえればと思います。 一人で泊まるなら、ビジネスホテルの方がお安いかも…二人で泊まるならコスパはバッチリです。

Wow did we luck out. My daughters and I discovered Cinnamon House by chance and will never stay anywhere else in Matsuyama. Pristine, cool, laid back. Shimpei-san is cool with great English. He actually drove my car up the hill to the free parking so I would know how to find it later. This place is a gem, just steps from Dogo Onsen. Our 3-person traditional Japanese room was immaculate. Air-conditioned. The only drawback is that it's not wheelchair accessible. Guitar on site, kitchen / fridge / free coffee (make your own), tea, and biscuits. Free little shampoos and conditioners to bring to the onsen. In and out privileges all nite. Get here!

On the outskirts of Songshan City, it is very quiet, and the car goes to the big street for 15 minutes. The dinner package is simple, the sashimi is good, the drink buffet, the wine adds extra money, a total of 14 rooms, some rooms have their own hot springs. On the balcony. There is a Chinese guy in the store who is very convenient to communicate. The surrounding facilities are almost the same, there is no supporting facilities, a hotel on the roadside is only open until the afternoon, dinner is recommended at the hotel, there are chess mahjong, table tennis and so on. Bus 52 can go to the city and Songshan Airport every hour. If you want to soak in the hot springs, it is still quite suitable.

I had heard that the hotel had been around for a long time, but I thought it was pretty because I stayed in the new building. Since the amenities are minimal, I think it would be even better if there was an amenity service for women. The location is close to Matsuyama Station, but it's not in the downtown area, so I don't get the impression that there are many places to eat nearby. Even a convenience store was quite far away, so I think it would be a good idea to do some shopping before entering the hotel. There is no store at the hotel, only vending machines. Parking is easy and convenient. It looked like they had rental bicycles as well.

Access by train or bus is not good, so I think it's a place to go by car. The parking lot is large, but the parking fee is charged separately. In this location? I thought a little. Breakfast will get tired every day if you stay consecutive nights, but I think it's better to stay １ (you can definitely add it at the front desk). The room is large and has a nice view. There is nothing around, so you can't sightsee on foot.
