Best Hotels near Dogo Onsen Sora no Sampomichi, Matsuyama

Used for relatives' legal affairs with 3 family members. I booked a Japanese-style room because the price was relatively cheap, but the size of the room and the content of the breakfast were good for the price. Especially, it was not a unit bath that is common in business hotels, but the toilet and bath were separate 々, and the bath was quite good because it felt wider than the bath at home. The location was relatively close to the city center, so it was convenient. When I returned home, I thought I would be able to use it next time.

This time I visited Matsuyama on a solo trip and stayed at Tokyu REI, who was taken care of in Okinawa. Matsuyama Castle and the shopping street on the Okaido are also nearby, so it is in a very good location. I was very happy to respond comfortably when I made a request for the room at the time of booking. Thanks to that, I was looking forward to check-in and was actually impressed with the room as requested. I think it was tough during the prosperity period, but thanks to your selfishness this time, I was able to make a very memorable trip. And I would like to use it when I visit Matsuyama again. It was my first trip to Shikoku and I went to Matsuyama. But the accommodation is very comfortable, especially the service from the staff. It was very good. There is also a hot spring on the 13th floor, which was nice because it had an open-air bath and the water was very clean. I was very impressed when they gave me yogurt or ice cream at the end. Laundry is free, drying is paid, and there is also a massage machine. Personally, I went to the hot springs at the Dogo Onsen annex with a coupon. I really liked the hot springs at the Dormy Inn. It takes about 5-6 minutes on foot from the airport bus stop, and nearby Don Quijote, shopping, and izakaya are within a 10-minute walk. It can be solved. If I come to Matsuyama again, I would like to stay again. I had a good time ~ Dormy Inn Hotel :)

２ I stayed with a plan with food. The Italian dinner using Ehime fish was great. You can also freely drink soft drinks including Ehime orange juice in the lobby and order cakes made at nearby patisserie (this is paid). Matsuyama itself is a compact city, and you can travel comfortably by tram.

The former Fujiya is dedicated to the outsider, and there is a new Fujiya nearby. It is closer to Dogo Onsen. The distance to get up and hold a towel. The room is a two-stage bed with an outlet. There is a small kitchen counter and a shared space that can be wowed. Recommended inn for travelers who want to spend freely.

Anyway, it is a convenient location. It is saved because transportation is in front of you wherever you go. Especially, the limousine bus to the airport departs from the front of you, so it is good to have your luggage at the hotel until the last minute and act. The hotel is beautiful and there is a large communal bath so you can get rid of your tiredness. Breakfast is also delicious, and I especially like licking every time I go. The service of the front desk also listened to this hope. I thought it was a service that didn't overdo it and the lessons from the corona disaster were alive. It is a hotel that I want to use when I go to Matsuyama again.

I booked in Agoda and stayed for 8 nights and 9 days for 3200 yen per night. When I stayed last year, it was about 4000 yen per night, so the influence of the corona seems to be large. I paid extra because it was a night stay plan. I ate a lick and a potato heaven, but I thought it was a little high. As a location, there are many convenience stores around, so there is no problem with a little shopping. The supermarket was about 15 minutes walk to the Dogo Onsen area. Don Quixote was also about 10 minutes walk. It is about 5 minutes walk to the big road of the shopping street, and there are many taverns and bars until then. The restaurant was closed or closed at 20 o'clock in the corona, so there was no chance to use the drinker very much. Then get off at the airport bus Okaido station and walk 10 minutes from there. You have to cross the main street, so if you have a big suitcase, taxi may be easier. I also want to stay if I have a chance to stay in Matsuyama.

We stayed a night here for our visit to Matsuyama. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Dogo Onsen station and the famous Dogo Onsen Honkan. The hotel provide a cheaper rate if you are visiting the Dogo Onsen Honkan and another onsen (I can't remember which). They have 3 types of free-flow mikan juice, and many different types of towels to choose from to bring along for your onsen. They also provide shower amenities (as you have to pay for them at the Dogo Onsen Honkan), yukata, socks and geta, to complete the onsen experience. The room is smallish, as they compartmentalize the room into different smaller sections. There were 2 strands of hair on my bed and some brownish stains on the sheets, although that didn't bother me too much as the rest of the room is relatively clean.
