Onsen Hotel Omoto
4.3/515 Reviews
I stayed here while touring. I parked my bike in the space in front of the entrance. The staff were friendly and provided a very pleasant service! I stayed in a room on the 5th floor, and the view of Asama Onsen and Matsumoto city was great from the room, and the night view was also pretty beautiful☺️ The large bath changes depending on the time of day, but the sauna on the observation deck on the 7th floor was amazing!
Shirafune Grand Hotel
4.2/526 Reviews
After playing in the upper highlands, take the car and change the car at Zedu (k20). After getting off the bus at Baigu Hot Spring, it is in the case. An elderly person will ask you about the hotel you booked, and then call the hotel. The hotel has a car to pick up (although not far away, it is all up the mountain road). The service attitude was very good, the front desk met a Hong Kong person, very patient to help us plan the next day's itinerary. The hot springs are open-air.
Kamikochi Myojinkan
3.8/510 Reviews
My husband and I stayed here while exploring Kamikochi. The staff were energetic and friendly, and we have had some very fond memories. The food was also delicious, and the free refills were a great plus for us. It was still chilly in the morning, but there were stoves burning in various places, and the thoughtful touches were comforting. We were also impressed by how clean the entire inn was. This must be the result of the hard work of the staff. We had a very satisfying trip. Another interesting point was that the inside of the inn was a bit of a maze.
Hotel New Station
4.2/538 Reviews
This is my second time staying here. I went to see the projection mapping at Matsumoto Castle. The reason I chose this hotel is first and foremost the customer service! The front desk staff are very friendly and polite. When I leave, they always say ”Have a nice day.” You can really feel the warmth of the hotel staff. Their kindness is different from the standard business hotel customer service. The facilities are old, but clean and the amenities are plentiful. I was happy to see coffee sticks in the amenities. And there's a cypress bath on the fifth floor. It's nice to be able to bathe in the hot springs while surrounded by the scent of cypress. It's close to the station and in a good location. I recommend this hotel. I'll use it again.
Nakanoyu Onsen Ryokan
4.5/523 Reviews
The Ryokan was remote and far from other things. We had car so that's good for us. If you don't, then you need to prepare how to commute. The dinner and breakfast were super good! the Ryokan has space to relax and enjoy, even though the room may be relatively small. Bus for the national park leave at 8 and 9 and you need to take the public bus back to the bus stop near the Ryokan. Public bus leave every 15 minutes. ends around 4pm so please check schedule ahead. The staff was caring but not so good at English except one lady that speaks fluently. So depend on her shift.
Hotel Morschein
4.1/541 Reviews
The hotel staffs were very nice to direct us to the carpark that we could park at. They were able to communicate in English. Beds were comfy. Room was clean. We enjoyed our stay there. Location is very near to the shopping and food area. Recommended to stay
