Charming traditional style room, delicious breakfast and dinner, shuttle service to and from downtown, and service, friendliness, and hospitality like I've never experienced. The staff really care about making your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. They're proud of their ryokan and of their town, and they want you to love these things as much as they do.
Would recommend, would stay again.

I was surprised to find such a cozy space even though it was not far from the city. The exterior of the facility is showing its age, but once you step inside, that image will disappear. Heartwarming customer service from employees. It's a small inn, so it's possible to be attentive. I am satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the food. The sake was delicious and I ended up drinking too much. I was grateful for the shuttle service I received on my way there and back, and I was able to hear a lot of interesting stories on the train, which made me feel very lucky. I would like to visit again if I want to meet the landlady.
