We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didn’t hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didn’t truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didn’t seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says I’m transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didn’t seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

Lovely would recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Don’t know why people are so negative about this place, I would stay here again. Clean, beds made everyday, clean towels, friendly staff. Located twenty minute walk from the square, and the souks. Off licence around the corner, which sells plenty of beer, wine and spirits. £11.00, for a bottle of wine and six beers. Highly recommended!!!

We had a great stay. Clean and nice room with comfy bed. Breakfast by the pool was great. Staffs were nice and friendly especially the door gentleman! Check-in was a bit of a pain as it took ages (lack of staff when i arrived)… we needed to rest badly but had to wait for like 20 mins. Lifts are very old and slow but luckily there wasn’t many guests so it wasn’t a burden. Ingeneral i think it was a good value hotel. We would come back!

This is our 8th visit to Aqua Fun Club, as a family of 7; 2 adults & 5 Children. We have been many other resorts around the world in-between our annual visit here, this is our favourite! From arriving to leaving each time, we couldn't have asked for better. ❤️ spotless rooms ❤️ fresh bedding daily ❤️ amazing waiters, special thanks to Mr Samir and Younes, who year on year ensures the food, service and atmosphere are amazing ❤️ none stop activities from the entertainment team, especially Momo,Memo & Ayo who are amazing in keeping the kids and us adults entertained and keep the competitive streak going ❤️ An on site shop, ran by the most welcoming and friendly man, Adul Malik. ❤️ the waterslides are amazing ( with even more being built resdy for 2025 season, the kids pools with slides on the pirate ship and the princess castle are great too. We come around April/May when the weather is around 28-34°C, in 8 visits, we have never had a bad experience or a bad moment. With the hindsight of some of the reviews i have read on this hotel, my conclusion after just staying here for a few days is they are absolutely not giving the hotel the justice it derserves. Yes the hotel is old, might be some tiles missing here and there' or some wall plug not sitting 100 % in the wall. But generally its not a problem that can't be solved if you ask the staff they are both friendly and helpfull. With a large family in marrakech and the experience of travelling here every other year for the last 30 years this is nothing out of the ordinary on hotels of marrakech unless you are staying at something absolutely high end hotel which will probably cost you small fortune Garden is magnificent with a spacious pool area, friendly and helpfull staff that solves any problems you might have, good food with fair prices. Rooms are spacious well ventilated (Ive read a lot of people complaining about the A/C, to that i can just say morocco is one of the warmest places on earth specially during the summer time and thats not anything even the best A/C can solve) The only negative thing is the area around the hotel once was a ”highend” district with lots of luxury hotels sadly the last couple of years the area has been in decay leaving it quite ”dead” which means you have to find a taxi to get to anywhere interesting which is not a big cost (20Dh-40dh), but can be tricky if you are travelling more then 3 persons due to lack of big taxis and the fact that small taxi´s only take 3 people. We checked in in the morning, which we were very grateful to them for allowing us to do. Everyone was so kind and helpful even after we realized there was a problem with our reservation. They worked with us and never tried to charge us for the mistake even though they certainly could have (especially when it took a few days for our travel agent to fix it). The food was delicious, every single person was friendly and helpful. We also got massages at the spa and were so happy and relaxed. They even held our luggage for free for a few days while we went on an excursion. The rooms they gave us for the second half of our stay were even nicer than the first. They were in the process of filing the pool and we really enjoyed sitting out by it even though they were laying even more pretty tile (the hotel is very beautiful as it is, even nicer than the pictures). I will say the internet passwords kept expiring which was annoying, but they always gave us a new code without any issue except the minor inconvenience. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the luxury suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous, complete with our own private patio. The riad itself is very spacious and beautiful, with plenty of areas to lounge around due to it being restored and combined with another riad. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating. Special shout out to Nadya, Muhammad and Hamsa. The food they prepared for breakfast and dinner was summarily delicious. The staff had excellent recommendations for each meal we had at the riad, as well as great recommendations for lunch and dinner in Marrakech. The location within the medina is in a residential area, so it's fairly quiet at night.

Advantages: 1. The hotel meals are amazing. Buffet is invincible, and it has beaten most five-star hotels in Morocco. This price is worth the dinner. 2. Very suitable for bringing children. The baby club has its own farm, with sheep, peacocks, turkeys, etc. Children love it. They have a full range of amusement equipment and a classroom, which can be hosted. It is a pity that the opening time is no later than 5:30 pm. 3. There are 3 outdoor swimming pools in the hotel. The pools can be launched in winter, and there is an artificial lake for boating. There are also tennis courts and children's golf courses. 4. Beautiful environment, suitable for vacation, palm park. 5. Can add an extra bed. Toothbrush with slippers Next talk about the flaws: 1. The room is too small ... average bedding. 2. The location is very remote, the suburbs, and you can consider own car.

Very poor I would rate this 2 star resort and that too is being generous, firstly the bedding had old stains, no kettle in room, fridge did not work had to call reception 3 times for someone to eventually replace the fridge along with the air con also, food choice was not a lot and mainly Moroccan dishes would be nice to have some international food choices the restaurant was small which led to big queues which still people would push in, the tables were not cleaned properly, again for a 5 star would expected drinks to be served but you would again have to queue to get ur drinks and staff did not speak English the snack bar staff always seemed fed up with making drinks all day and the worst mojitos cocktails iv drank. The food was not the best either iv eaten into chicken that was undercooked, omelettes full of egg shells.The snack they serve between 5-6 in the very small cafeteria is ridiculous how everyone would swarm the place pushing and shoving to get a snack sometimes u would be left with nothing. The spa again for somewhere that considers its 5 star is very poor and below average. Only place you can sit and have drinks is outdoor the heat was too much wanted to sit indoors but they have no place unless you sit In reception. I think this resort is more catered for the locals than international people.
