Hotels in Agdal, Marrakech

Stayed 5 nights deluxe pool view room ground floor level with terrace for 5 nights 24- 29th November. Hotel is 15 minutes from the airport and there is some aircraft noise but not of concern. Entrance and decor of public areas is excellent. especially the entrance foyer and reception area. Room as described on hotel website. Room has a fridge but no minibar, only 2 earl grey teabags so if you want tea or coffee take your own. Now the bad bits..... Buffet food for breakfast is poor. Fried eggs or Omelette cooked to order were ok. Milk in carafe in ice buckets, no description of what it is. No fruit, orange juice, don't bother drinking it. Pastries and yoghurt good. Ham and cheeses all left out and sweating, not in cool area. waiters do the best they can. They even manage to reuse cloth Napkins, F&B manager non existent. Pool bar food is better . they manage to serve raw chicken kebabs, a guest did point this out but manager didn't do anything. Burgers etc fresh cooked with chips are fine and the waiting and bar staff good. all inclusive as we were don't get served until 3pm but if you are not all inc you are served. Dinner food in Buffet restaurant the only hot food you can have is Pasta. Its cooked to order, everything else is lukewarm at 7,30pm when the restaurant opens. The Cat restaurant food is poor with most on supplement price. Don't bother. The Moroccan restaurant saved our week, food is great, hot, varied and all the staff are very professional. Décor is stunning and lots of space between tables, book day prior as it gets full up. Bar is good but the singer goes home at 8.00pm Bar staff great, Limited cocktails on all inc and limited lager or beer, Stick to Rose wine the rest not drinkable. pool was cleaned every day but is cold, sunbeds and towels plentiful and gardens are well looked after and pretty. Spa ok we used the hammam and jacuzzi, the indoor pool is extra charge and always empty. Phone never answered its best to book personally. There is nothing close to the hotel for supplies or any other food, its 15 minutes to Jemaa El Fnaa Square and taxi rank outside hotel price about 50 MAD. The sad part is this hotel deserves to succeed as most staff are friendly and helpful . Attention to detail by non existent management let it down, The food issue is serious and needs sorting out asap. If this was a hotel chain it would be a lot better. No we would not return.

Hotel is conveniently located near Marrakech city centre - the fact that we had a car helped. If you don’t have your own transportation then it is about 2/3 KM from the Jemaah El Fnaa. The hotel was nice and clean although it could do better with new corridor carpet and a lick of paint in the exterior. The service is good but could be better as the bathroom light did not get fixed and towel rail came off despite reporting to receptionist. The hotel is good but could improve in many ways.

Very big and stylish, there is a large swimming pool, it takes about ten minutes to go to the sleepless square. It is recommended to take a rest in the swimming pool early in the afternoon, you can eliminate a lot of fatigue after the journey, then go to the sleepless square to have fun.

We got a great deal during Ramadan. Location is Agdal, leafy suburbs with good shops, calm and quiet and close to the city centre, ten minutes drive. It's a classic hotel with two huge pools and great slides for kids. Breakfast was plentiful. Recommend.

We were a group of 10 people who checked in on the 13/08 for a week with the all inclusive package. I must say everything was top notch- warm and welcoming staff, a huge variety of food and beverages in the canteen that varies everyday, and high level of hygiene with room service provided everyday. A special shout out to Ahmed, Houria and the reception/canteen staff for making our vacation so memorable/ comfortable. At one point we had a small problem with our aircon, and within seconds of informing the staff about it, we had a technician who fixed it for us before we could even process it! This hotel was booked for our stay last week Oct 15th - 17th . After ' THE WORST EXPERIENCE ' I would advise anyone to go else where This hotel was DIRTY !!! DIRTY TOWELS & on requesting new clean ones , the towels was taken away & then handed straight back . The guy in the white shirt ' who checked me in & the same guy who serves people from the bar , is always on the phone . He will see you sat there waiting at the bar & will have you waiting until he finishes his call - RUDE !!!! No urgency & Shocking customer service There was no hot water for the first night so we could not get showered after our flight Toiletries which is stated in the booking list and says you are provided with- We got a childs size bar of soap On checking in to our meant to be ” Clean Room- 3 hours after the check in time given , we Was made to wait as the room STILL HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED!!! We Was left with a quarter of the used tissue paper off the previous guests . On asking for some more the day after, we Was told there wasn't any on site and handed a pack of tissues Sun loungers- DUSTY AND DIRTY Pool equipment, umbrella- DIRTY Our terrace , extremely DIRTY Breakfast was limited- 1 boiled egg & 2 cold fried eggs left- with no mention of a top up In writing about my honest experience - I have received an answer back off the hotel. The man in the white shirt - who checked me in , is supposedly a CUSTOMER- Who wears a white t-shirt . Why would a regular customer who uses the establishment, CHECK YOU IN? The hotel have said, the day I arrived, there had been storms ? Not sure how this would possibly effect the FACT we had DIRTY TOWELS OUR LATE CHECK IN AND WAS MADE TO WAIT NO TOILETRIES NO TISSUE PAPER SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE POOR VALUE FOR MONEY I have posted the reply off the hotel after them reading my review - they ask you to leave !! The claim I have left them this review as they supposedly declined a FREE UPGRADE I HAD ASKED FOR !!!! BEWARE THIS HOTEL WILL NOT ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT WILL ALSO MAKE LIES UP ... Do some research, i have since noticed previous comments off other guests who mention about poor hygiene and the lame standards this hotel provides .

Regarding the room, a mixed start to my stay and a first evening, being very manic and looking at cleanliness, my first room was very dusty and poorly insulated, the next day, the reception team told me about it. changed rooms, much less dust but not up to my expectations, I think the rooms need a little more maintenance and refreshing. Regarding the common areas, cleanliness is excellent and hydroalcoholic gel is available. As for the gym and the swimming pool, great I have nothing to say, very well maintained. The catering is correct too bad some of the hotel's restaurants are closed due to the Covid. The agents at the reception, catering, SPA and swimming pool are attentive and are very responsive. Too bad there is no possibility of transfer from the airport which is very nice when you land at 11:50 pm. Finally, the stay went well despite some improvements to be made and a sense of detail to be developed. Thank you for this stay.
