Riad Jardin des Sens & Spa

Very calm, peaceful riad with very quietly spoken staff who make you feel so welcome. It is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle & bustle of the main square. Our room was spacious & comfortable with walk in shower. There is a rooftop area for breakfast & relaxation, divided into separate areas. You order food (apart from breakfast, via an app) which you can have sitting at the pool in the prerty courtyard. There is a small spa area for hammam and treatments which were lovely. The best thing about the riad, apart from the sense of calm, is the staff who are always smiling and helpful but unobtrusive so you feel like you are in a private riad. We were sorry to leave. Thank you to all for a lovely end to our stay in 'crazy' Marrakech!

Outstanding stay here with family. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble. The manager Redoune & Nana were there to greet us and show us around the Riad. The place is immaculate, hard to believe how tranquil it is when you are literally in the middle of the medina. The staff Said, Macer. Bilal, Med, Soukiana, Mazidav& Zineb tended to our needs. Breakfast was a Moroccan feast & set us up for the day. Although there were other guests staying here, it felt more of a private home, we didn’t hear or see anyone. Airport transfers were organised for us by the staff in advance & they were more than happy to give advice on excursions and places to visit.

I honestly don’t know where to start, genuinely. The entire stay was flawless and beyond exceptional. I have never experienced such incredible customer service, the staff went above and beyond at every stage but here is to list a few: We asked about a taxi at reception, to which one young lad (I feel awful I can’t remember his name) arranged for us and walked us to the drop off so we didn’t get lost. The manager and head cleaner came up at breakfast to introduce their selves and check how the stay was which we felt was a lovely touch. It was also my birthday, to which the staff arranged the most beautiful cake and came out to wish me a wonderful day. After the first morning we discovered breakfast was very carb heavy, and with a gluten intolerance I was a little worried, I mentioned it to the manager who straight away said it’s not an issue and he would have the chefs organise something going forward. They really were so accommodating bringing me separate items each morning & it didn’t feel like hassle to them at all. We got upgraded to the most gorgeous room,the entire place was an absolute haven and we really did feel like we were at home. Also highly recommend the spa! The price was such good value, we even did a highly rated spa day elsewhere and we actually preferred the treatments at our riad. The massages and facials we had will never be topped. Our only tweak would be that although breakfast was amazing, we felt we wasted a lot of food. It would be nice to have a list to pick from the day before, as we just had far to much food to eat and felt awful leaving it, I really could list and list forever why we loved this place and even in this review I feel we’re missing so many beautiful details.

We had a wonderful stay and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We did a cooking class with Zinab and Nacer on the roof terrace and loved it. First we chose the 3 course menu we wanted to cook, then we went to the market to buy the ingredients with our guide. The chicken was chosen alive and prepared fresh - not for the squeamish! When we returned we enjoyed 2 hours cooking in the warm December sun. Finally we could chose to eat our meal for lunch or dinner. An experience not to be missed.

A lovely riad, breakfast is excellent, food very well presented and varied. Had a spa treatment which was excellent. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Great recommendations for eating out not far from the Riad. Highly recommend this place.

I didn’t stay at this place and now never going to. I canceled my reservation more than a week before arrival because i had heart attack and couldn’t travel, but they didn’t want to refund the fee, which i pre-paid. I was going to travel for 20 days in Morocco and stay in 10 different hotels. Every other hotel refunded the money and actually expresses sympathy for my situation. This hotel didn’t respond to my calls or messages for 3 days and then just refused. If this is how they treat their potential customers i would advise you not to stay with them in solidarity, but also to teach them a lesson on how to treat people in distress. Imagine if you are a traveler and you have an emergency while staying in their hotel? Think of how they’ll treat you! If what they did to me is any indication, avoid this place like the plague. I’ve traveled the world and stayed in many hotels. I’ve never seen such callus behavior!
