Not sure what to make of this place . A vast complex in the middle of nowhere and apparently inaccessible without private transport . When our group stayed there we were almost the only guests which made it seem even odder . Our room was a long walk down an endless corridor from the lift , which could barely wait for passengers to exit before shutting its doors . The room itself was pleasant enough ; the bathroom OK ,pity there wasn't a shower , an adequate supply of coffee and tea ,and a kettle , a balcony , comfortable beds and quiet except on the night two small boys in a nearby room went on the rampage in the communal corridor . Food was the biggest let down . The bar snacks were rather limited , several items were not available , and the barman on the first night was very off-hand . My husband ordered a beer and was presented with a bottle . The request for a glass was met with a very grudging response . My orange juice tasted like the manufactured variety , very unlike the fresh variety , one of the delights of Morocco . Breakfast wasn't much better though I believe the omelettes were OK . Some of the staff were friendly and helpful but others were not ! Due to the small numbers of guests there was absolutely no atmosphere .

This place should have been good as the facilities are quite nice with big rooms a pool bar and restaurant. The service levels however were basically awful - rude staff and a totally underwhelming restaurant with a take it or leave it attitude was not good enough. An understocked bar and loud thumping music all around the pool area did nothiing to add to one's enjoyment. As this is situated 5 miles from the centre I would suggest there are much better "5 star" hotels in Marrakesh

Nice room and decent food. Service was ok too. Next time though I would stay at the Palm Plaza Hotel & Spa which we did also. Much nicer room and much better food and service! Shop around for best location and hotel amenities!

The view of the sunset from the hotel is stunning, but without exception the best thing in the hotel is the staff. Friendly and extremely helpful. We had some last minute problems with our flights home and Iman, who was at the front desk went above and beyond to help us sort this out. She was calm, reassuring and extremely competent. I can not speak highly enough of the staff at this hotel.
