My partner and I stayed here for four night In early June 24. The hotel is situated about a 30 minute walk from the Medina, which we didn’t mind, but if you wanted a taxi there is a rank on the corner and the hotel staff will hail for you. The area that the hotel is the more modern and touristy part of town, but the hotel is a more like a traditional Riad. I suspect that a purist would say that this is not technically a Riad, but for us this was the perfect boutique option. We don’t like big hotels, but we don’t want to sacrifice too many comforts either. As others have commented the Medina is a mad place, and whilst we loved it, it was nice to come away from it to relax. The hotel is immaculately clean and always smells amazing. There’s a lovely scent as soon as you walk through the front door. There are only 15 rooms and 5 suites, which gives it a very personal feel. The staff could not be friendlier or give you a better service. I thought they got the service level just right - it was very attentive and sophisticated without being pretentious. It was really good example of what modern 5 star service should be. The only criticism I would have would be that it was very difficult to get the attention of the staff when you were around the pool. More often than not, one of us would have to get up to go to the bar, which wasn’t the end of world but was a bit irritating. The pool area itself was very tranquil. You have orange and lemon trees around the pool and climbing flowers up the side of the building. It’s very pretty. One thing I would note is that the pool gets no sun until the afternoon. This didn’t bother us as we did excursions in the Morning but those of you who want to sunbathe all day may struggle.

Been a number of times and it remains a fantastic place. The tranquility at the pool, the fantastic employees who have been working there for a long time and the recognition when you return. The breakfast, the suites, everything is PERFECT! Yes, the price is high but it's worth it!

I stayed here recently and some parts of our stay were excellent, and others were really disappointing. My major annoyance was the advertised photographs of the swimming pool. Both of us enjoy a swim. You would have to agree that the advertising photos give promise that this is highly possible. Even some past reviews mention the pool. Why I wonder. It is small and too shallow for adults to use. When we arrived we had to ask for an iron and ironing board. We were told they would bring this for a short time but not for our entire stay. Where in the world is there another 5 star hotel that does not provide this as standard. I could say more but I think you can tell we were disappointed in our stay, and should we return to Marrakesh we would stay elsewhere. The breakfast was excellent, and with plenty of choice. The staff are very polite and helpful. The massage in the spa was also good. Had I not paid in advance I would have left after the first night. Beware,

This is a truly heavenly place: an oasis of beauty and comfort. The pictures don’t do justice to the gorgeousness of the hotel. Everywhere you look there are lovely touches that make this place extra special: petals in the fountains, scented oils, ornamental plantings. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere with such attentive, warm and professional staff, all of whom seem happy. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from making up a fire in our sitting room when the weather got a little chilly, to making restaurant reservations and advising on the souk. The spa is excellent, and the hammam well worth a try. Breakfasts are magnificent, with great range including eggs made to order, home-made yoghurt and Moroccan pancakes, and as much freshly squeezed orange juice as you can drink. Dinner is equally wonderful, and the cosy snug with its fire and leather chairs a perfect spot to enjoy a nightcap after supper. Thank you to all the staff for a truly magical stay. Disliked · Hard to find fault, but if I had to pick something, I would say the lack of plug sockets by the bed was mildly annoying, and the shower very low—anyone over 5ft has to crouch.

My husband and I had four nights here. We had done a lot of research and we travel quite a bit and this was the hotel we chose to book when in Marrakesh. We have been to a few hotels, since we have been here for drinks, and we still are very confident that this is the best hotel you can stay at in Marrakesh! The service is impeccable, the breakfast is delicious, our room, which is the orient suite is so spacious, the Wi-Fi works great, the pool is so relaxing and you can just hear all the birds chirping from morning till night, the bed is comfortable, they put fresh flowers in our room… Obviously, no complaints at all!! If you prefer more of a boutique hotel experience, I would definitely choose this one! We check out tomorrow, and I have to say I will miss this place. We took days exploring the city, but we always look forward to coming back to our beautiful room and this beautiful hotel. I highly recommend if I could give us 20 stars I would.! It’s also in a perfect location. The neighborhood is very safe and we were able to walk to dinner and other areas around. My husband loves to run and he’s been on runs every morning says it’s beautiful early also in the neighborhood.

Overall the place has unique features and beautiful grounds that lack 5 star service from reception and management. Friendly 3 star is how I would describe it. It has the restaurant, a small spa and tiny gym.. so, hence they get the stars. But the service lacks. Feels like antique hotel vibe. Love the cacti and exceptional plaster work throughout. Downside: reception didn’t listen closely and missed opportunities to care for us. Something to keep in mind before booking: we were above the reception area and WiFi kept dropping to the point I just stopped trying. Not important unless it’s important. In my case I was trying to book a flight. No chance if you want to stream a movie near WiFi in the courtyard. Also keep in mind there is a restaurant and seems to book tours and events. So when we were trying to sleep.. we kept being woken up at 11pm to midnight from noise in the courtyard of people having a conversations. Bed is hard and pillows are firm. Finally, the people are absolutely lovely at this Riad. Our experience was just very average.

This may sound cheesy, but one of the reasons we're considering a Marrakech round 2 was our stay. What certainly impressed us was the level of detail in the design and making sure it improves users experience. Spot f on
