Riad Kheirredine

This September was my third visit to Riad Kheirredine in a 18 month period. This riad is exceptional on so very many levels - the owners and general manager have impeccable taste and standards and are kindness itself. The most outstanding feature of Riad Kheirredine is the levels of service from the top down - I think most people would agree that the service levels are par excellence, and leave guests feeling pampered and so well cared for. The management team, including but not limited to darling Elena, Siham, Hind, Jana, make the happiness and satisfaction of each guest their priority, and nothing is too much trouble for these wonderful souls. From arranging excursions, to changing forex, to planning special occasions and making sure all guest requests are dealt with with a degree of professionalism and service excellence that for me is unparallelled so far. The F & B team are equally wonderful, with the most warm and attentive service and friendliness I have ever experienced - Yassine, Ibrahim, Hassan, Medi and the other gentlemen do Riad Kheirredine proud. Then the housekeeping team and maintenance staff - all carry out their jobs with such pride and dedication, that I honestly cannot find fault no matter how hard I try. As for the kitchen and chef and the bar staff, Riad Kheirredine, well the food and drink offerings are superb. To note is that you have a wonderful variety of cuisine on offer - there are three menus - a traditional Moroccan menu, an Italian menu with superb cuisine, and a lovely international menu. For me the food combined with the stunning views at sunrise and sunset/evenings on the rooftop terrace and the wonderful companionship of the staff and although I always say that I will venture out to dine elsewhere in the medina or city, I never do, as the food and drinks keep me more than satisfied. Daisy and Sarah at the Hammam and Spa provide the most wonderfully relaxing and refreshing spa trea**ents, and this past time, left me feeling so relaxed that I actually fell asleep and started gently snoring. Thanks ladies - I loved it!! There are wonderful extra touches on offer at the riad which add wonderful value to your stay - like the unlimited free laundry service, a constant supply of bottled water, the use of a loan cell phone when venturing out in case one needs advice or help, an escort service to walk you out of the medina to the taxis if, like me, you have difficulty remembering the way. The riad itself is the most beautiful building with the most stunning decor and style, and is an oasis of calm and tranquility which marks a sharp contrast with the mayhem that is happening on the outside. Tinkling water, lush greenery and beautiful bird song and lovely shady or sunny spots to sit and rest or tan and swim add to the whole otherworldliness of the Riad Kheirredine experience. Absolutely faultless in every way. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay a truly memorable one fully justifying it's 5 star rating as the best small hotel in Africa. On arrival in Marrakech we were collected by a hotel representative who took our luggage and drove us near to the Riad (cars cannot go directly to the Riad as roads are too narrow, but we were directed by a hotel guide who arranged for our luggage to be planted in our room) We were met by Elena who gave us a warm welcome and initial drink, then a comprehensive tour of the Riad and then guided us to our beautiful suite. We then had a lovely dinner on the rooftop of the Riad This proved typical of the service we were given. Nothing was too much trouble and every question was met with a 'can-do' attitude One of the best if not the best experiences we have had !

From the moment we booked our stay we knew the attention to detail would be faultless, fantastic communication before we arrived asking if we would like collecting from the airport (25 euros) or dinner on arrival, as we would be arriving in the evening our landing time was 19.30. We where dropped off at the nearest car drop point and met by a member of the Riads team, who guided us threw the streets, we arrived and entered threw a lovely solid wood door into what can only be described as a place of tranquility. A lovely welcome of Moroccan tea and dates oh and another member of the faultless always wearing a smile team. Our room was great, clean, well maintained and much needed air con. The Wi-Fi worked throughout the accommodation. Complimentary tea, coffee, water and orange juice are available throughout your stay. Breakfast on the roof top was delightful freshly squeezed juice, coffee, tea, pastries, delicious homemade jam, honey and marmalade, fresh pastries and selection of breads as well as fruit yoghurt and eggs how ever you liked them. We really appreciated the complimentary phone during our stay this really helped us guide through the busy winding streets and most importantly guided us back into peace and tranquility. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely and clean there was always plenty of sun beds free to choose from and always areas where you could hide away together and feel like you was in your own private residence.

This is the second time that I have stayed at this road and my friend and I felt very well looked after. The staff were friendly polite and professional. They were very helpful in providing suggestions for our trip and helped us to have a smooth transit back to the airport. Breakfasts in the morning were delicious and we enjoyed our meals in the beautiful rooftop of the Riad. I will definitely return for a third visit

Oh my! This was the best experience ever! What a wonderful place. From arriving to departing it was simply the best! I can’t even describe the experience because it was totally sensory. The smell, the touch, the ambience. Just go! We arrived very early but were greeted with the most exquisite mint tea and treats. It is like an oasis in a sea of possibly building sites etc? Just be assured, it doesn’t feel like that when you are in the Riad.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive to all our needs. They took the time to understand what we had scheduled for the upcoming days so that they could provide assistance in getting us to the locations, calling to confirm meeting points, etc. Everytime we returned to the Riad, we were greeted at the door, asked about our day and offered a drink that would be delivered to the room (with snacks). A cell phone pre-programmed with their contact info was provided just in case we got lost. They were proactive about every detail and made our stay very enjoyable.

I couldn´t find a better place to celebrate my wife´s 50th birthday vacation. The staff and their service was amazing, we felt very taken care of. The Riad was very beautiful and the location was perfect. We will definitely be back soon. Love to all the staff.

This riad was superb ! I loved everything about it. Its quaintness , privacy and uniqueness was so charming. The staff was incredible ! So kind, pleasant , helpful and personalized ! The restaurant I rate a 5! Every single thing on the menu was fabulous The rooftop was my happy place. Beautiful! Had an incredible spa day Professional , and wonderful. Prices were good as well. I would return to Marakesh , just to go to this riad and relax. I’d never have to leave. Thank you for an incredible stay!!!

The most attentive and welcoming team at RK. They would do anything and were one step ahead always. Being given a phone to use whilst out and about is fantastic and they're always on hand to assist. The Riad is beautiful, peaceful and always clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
