A Delightful Stay at Riad Janate in Marrakech
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riad Janate in Marrakech for two nights, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the serene ambiance and beautiful decor of this traditional riad, tucked away in the heart of the medina.
What made our stay truly exceptional was the outstanding hospitality we received. A special mention must go to Simo, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His cheerful personality and sunny smile were a constant source of warmth throughout our stay. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, arranging logistics, or simply checking in to make sure we were enjoying our time, Simo’s attentiveness made us feel at home.
The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-appointed, with thoughtful touches that reflected the charm of Moroccan design. Breakfast each morning was a delight, featuring fresh and delicious local offerings. The riad’s peaceful courtyard and rooftop terrace provided the perfect spots to unwind after exploring the bustling streets of Marrakech.
If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic Moroccan hospitality with impeccable service, Riad Janate is a perfect choice. I can’t thank Simo and the entire team enough for making our visit so special. Highly recommended!

I stayed here with my daughter in June 2025. I'm writing this review to warn everyone that they double charged me for my stay. I brought it to their attention within a week of staying there in hopes they would refund me. I assumed it was an oversight and they would make the correction asap. Instead, they denied that there was a double charge. I emailed them evidence but received no response. I followed up a few days later and they said that they are looking into it but had no idea how long it would take to refund me. Days more passed - nothing from them. I messaged them again for an update and they replied saying they had no update and would get back to me. I waited more and yet nothing from them. I since sent two more messages that were read but completely ignored. I'm shocked at how this has been dealt with. Bottom line, they stole my money and I wouldn't doubt for a second that they will steal yours too. There's a lot of nice Riad's in the area - do yourself a huge favor, take your business there instead.

My family and I stayed for three days at Riad Janate, and everything was fabulous. The riad is beautiful, always clean and well maintained. The breakfast was fantastic, and all the staff were wonderful and attentive. Special thanks to Oualid (and the other young colleague) who looked after us for their kindness and for taking such good care of us.

Riad Janate is truly a hidden gem in the medina. The riad is an oasis of calm after a busy day of exploration amongst the hussel and busel of the city. The center court yard is so beautiful and comfortable that you can't help but to feel at ease. The rooms were stylish and comfortable with big comfy beds. All the rooms have air-conditioning which was ideal for my very irish husband. The roof top relaxation area is great place to relax at the end of the day while enjoying mint tea or a mid day soak in the jacuzzi. The breakfast was amazing and served by the beautiful plunge pool each morning. The on site hammam is really bonus and something you must treat yourself to. Now the staff I have to say are truly amazing , kind and very helpful. They instantly make you feel right at home. I can highly recommend Riad Janate & spa for your stay in marrakech.

We absolutely loved Riad Janate, it’s beautifully finished and clean and all the staff can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed in a family room with our boys aged 8 & 11 and there was plenty of space & big comfortable beds. Abdo the manager helped organise all of our trips from the riad and we had a great time on them all. We hired a guide to explore the city, which I’d recommend to help get your bearings. Thank you to Abdo, Simo and all the team for a wonderful stay.

Perfection
I loved being in this beautiful place. The small team works very hard to take good care of the guests. As a solo traveler I felt well looked after. They helped arrange my transportation from and to the airport which made things a lot easier for me, especially arriving in Morocco for first time. They also helped arrange a hammam spa treatment - it’s convenient and comfortable that the spa is on site. Possibly my favorite part was the roof deck — such a peaceful place to spend the afternoons into the sunset.

Our room did not have quick access to hot water. You would actually wait a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes for the shower water to get warm.
The breakfast is below average. Very limited choices

That most amazing Riad
The most amazing stay at Riad Janate, as a solo Traveller feeling safe is a priority and I felt safe and well assured by all staff at the Riad who went above and beyond to make sure my transfers arrive even dropping me off to places and I’m so grateful, they were always on hand if I needed anything. The room was beautiful with the most amazing view of the Riad, breakfast was lovely and the chicken TAJINE for dinner was 10/10 I will be definitely be returning 100%
